@aldronlin I felt the same way, but it is possible they will learn from their mistakes. Of course, if ME 3 is any indication they will make it even less RPG and even more hack 'n slash :/
More ambiguity in 'moral' choices, in depth optional dialogue with party members (preferably anywhere, not just in camp), more customization (as in armor being broken up into individual pieces, accessory slots, weapon upgrades, that sort of thing) and a less hack and slash, more traditional RPG combat system would be HUGE steps in the right direction for this series.
@GinsuVictim I guess I'm the odd one then. There have been games I wanted to play on 360 and Wii, but I never bought the systems because I can either buy them on PC (360) or there were only three or four games I really wanted to play since the console was introduced (Wii). I don't buy systems BECAUSE of one game, I buy them on the promise that there will be multiple releases each year that I will want to play.
@LegendaryFightz How do you know you wont be able to see them? Better sails? Hull armor? Better cannons? All of these things are out in the open on a ship.
@vicke32 Lets skip right over the fact that you haven't played the game yet but are talking like you have and get into the 'declining plot' comment. The plot in AC was incredibly threadbare. It consisted of little more than a cut-scenes with your 'master' and then running to one of three cities and doing the same missions over and over again to get to the assassination which, lets face it, were all pretty much the same just in different locations. I've been playing all the games back to back in anticipation for AC 3 (I had never played Brotherhood and am thoroughly enjoying it, and Revelations is next on the list) and they seem to get better (from a plot perspective) with each release. Ezio is a fully fleshed out character, and even the side quests in Brotherhood have more depth than the main quests in AC. I'm assuming you don't sell your ship because it will be pretty easy to make money in this game as it has been in the past games. Also, your comment about the global economy doesn't make you sound smart, it makes you sound out of touch and like you have been watching Fox 'News' exclusively for the last year.
@Joeguy00 @stard But that isn't what is going to happen. This will be years in litigation, lots of money on both sides, and in the end they will settle out of court and the whole thing will be a waste of time. And as the professor said, with an open ended life sim game it is going to be hard to prove they ripped it off. So now no one can make a game where you play as a character that has to pee every once and a while? I don't see that happening.
