"I would be interested in this game if it had Non-Turn based combat."
I'd also be interested in ice cream if it wasn't so cold, books if they had less words, and watching T.V. if it was actually an audio drama.
Pokemon has an incredible system of combat in place, with a poker-like level of bluffing, prediction, and strategy... and the luck too. Why get rid of the best part?
@Sniper_Wolf25 Randomness is a good thing to make a game more entertaining. The problem with tripping was that it wasn't a randomness you could work around, or incorporate into your strategy. "The walls now have spikes for the next ten seconds" is a fun element of randomness, because you can work with it, and take advantage of it. "Oh, your character suddenly stumbled at random" is not fun for anyone.
Just discovered that Ashly Burch is the voice of Tiny Tina. And it's written by Anthony Burch. I'm seeing this DLC as an episode of Hey Ash What'cha Playin' in Video Game form. :D
I'm not sure which side of this argument I'm on. I thought I was pretty firmly in the "You don't need high end graphics to make a game entertaining, or look nice" camp. However, just today, I was playing Planetside 2, and I found myself, after finishing a pitched battle, stepping over a ridge at the edge of a base, and just watching the sun set, as the rest of my allies headed off down the road.
@Swedenik I'd agree... except for the fact that they're destroying the games, not giving them to charity or something. Ultimately, someone's paying a lot of money to have these games destroyed.
