@Feyd87 It would never work with the current Pokemon. They'd have to completely redesign the entire game from the ground up. The fact that 90% of pokemon players completely eschew non damaging moves, and would therefore be helpless against a gimmick team of six level 1 rattatas is a good example of this.
@a1450358509 I think you might find that your opinion is rather in the minority in this. With a raised D-Pad, you can use it almost like an analog stick. Having the buttons separated is no better than trying to use ABXY as a D-Pad.
@NinjaAk12 Gannondorf's Up B can also be used as an uppercut instead of a throw. Besides, you named exactly three moves that look aesthetically similar, good for you.
It would be neat for Gannondorf to have moves more based on Zelda (Warlock Fist is about it), but the fact remains that Gannondorf and Capt. Falcon are two of the most dissimilar characters in the game. You're not one of those noobs who just sits there and spams B moves, and assumes that's all there is to the game, are you?
@Lhomity I think it's safe to say I'm a Nintendo fanboy, but I love the idea of PlayStation All-Stars. We need more companies and franchises doing stuff like that. Everyone likes a good battle game.
@NinjaAk12 If this were Melee, I'd say you had a legitimate complaint. However, Brawl didn't really have any clone characters. Link and Young Link were probably the closest thing the game had to clone characters, and even they were very different. They might appear similar superficially, but they play NOTHING alike. In your example, you just named one of the fastest, and one of the slowest, characters as being "too much alike".
@RPG_Fan_I_Am Sorry, but what you have to understand is that you aren't really an authority. You're like someone who plays Pokemon and claims that Thunder Wave is useless because it does no damage.
The truth is, all else being equal, Meta-Knight is stronger than any other character in Brawl by far.
