@Vidpci @UdderJuice @Sampawende Corporate interests??? I buy my games for ridiculous sale prices on Steam but at least I know the money is going to the developers and not into Gamestop’s CEO’s pocket. Who’s a slave to corporate interests again?
@Rayzakk You have an actual working NES or a Korean made copy-cat system? Either way, it won’t last forever. I’d rather have a huge game library inside my PC than a bunch of hunks of plastic taking up space and collecting dust. To each his own though.
@Sampawende @UdderJuice @Vidpci lol, you really think your 360 will be working in another 10 years? Keep dreaming. Why would Steam suddenly cut everyone off? They are in business to distribute games. It’s the WHOLE POINT OF THE SERVICE. Let go of the old world dude.
@Vidpci @UdderJuice And every time you trade in a disk and someone else buys it you are taking money from the people who made the game and giving it to Gamestop. It hurts the industry and drive process up for everyone. But go ahead and think only about your “rights” if that’s all you care about.
@Vidpci @UdderJuice No, but their service isn't going anywhere. In fact it will still be there and I'll still be playing those games long after MS stops making the 360 and your precious disks are useless since there is no backwards compatibility and oh look they want you buy them again in digital format on the Xbone 3000.
I don't want nor need disks taking up space in my home. When we go completely digital the prices will drop. Just look at how cheap you can get games for on Steam. When I can buy Batman Arkham City for 10 bucks who cares if I can't trade it when I'm finished. Only backwoods people stuck in the past still want disks.
Both the show and the game are decent but together they make an intriguing package, the sum of which is more than its parts. The game has flaws but is awesome fun. I'm just speculating here but I bet the layoffs are people who worked on the base game and are responsible for its rough edges at launch. The people they kept will work on future content and patches. I hope they don't let this game die. Its an original concept and is the most ambitious thing to be released of its kind cross-platform.
