The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the TV watcher to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US. Cook has previously written:

Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. Cook is merely confirming what others have said. Former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski told the Senate that the war on terror is "a mythical historical narrative".

[QUOTE="clembo1990"]I am not fooled by his brown-nosing. He blames society's problems on the rejection of "prophets". What? Loose moral boundraries due to lack of importance in family values have nothing to do with it? Excessive government intervention and low expectations for individual effort are not prevelant in the sue-states of America and united sepina-dom? He wants to wipe Israel off the map, he tolerates execution of adulterers and homosexuals, he is evil, he is wrong.

BTW, I want to refute you on wiping Israel off the map. It was actually mistranslated and Ahmadinejad actually said that Israel shall fade from the pages of time. He never said to wipe Israel off the map. As far I am concerned, Israel is a warmongering nation who has declared war on multiple nations around it. I would be a lot more skeptical about Israel's motivations than I would be of Iran's. Do you remember what happened to Iraq? Israelis bombed Iraq's nuclear reactor in which it's purpose was also to generate electricity. Saddam submitted after that and agreed to not build any more nuclear reactors. It clearly didn't help Iraq from being invaded on pretenses of having access to WMDs and being involved with NYC attacks. I mean no harm but America has been doing a lot of bullying lately. Iran has allowed IAEA investigators to investigate Iran's nuclear reactors. Israel had allowed none from IAEA to investigate it's nuclear reactors. What does that tell you? It's ridiculous and preposterous to think that Israel is a good friend of ours. Being allied with Israel has only tarnished America's name and made the Middle East hate us.

The rejection of their message, not the prophets themselves. Whatever one may think of whether or not Jesus existed and of whether or not he was indeed the son of God, I don't think many can disagree with the idea that loving one's neighbor as oneself is a good idea.

Aye, I'madinnerjacket's message wasn't all too bad. Of course, the idea of a world under religious rule freaks me out and I'm sure I'd be killed for being myself, but his statement that people won't be fooled by repackaged greed and false promises is certainly optimistic, and I hold that hope as well(however unlikely it is).

I'm sure that he meant when he said there should be more pious leaders mean he wanted more men who followed religion. Of course, being religious should be optional not mandatory but it would be always a positive thing. Religion sets a footwork of morals which is positive for any society.

I never dislike one's presents to me because receiving gifts in it's essence is generous.

I liked the new xbox experience, it cut down a lot on screen tearing when pressing the Xbox button in-game. Granted, the new stuff is mostly fluff but it was a nice free update for all users.

I wouldn't buy a 360 elite, you might as well shell out the same amount of cash on a PS3 player and get a BD player to boot.

Xbox 360 has a great game library and the Wii has a terrible game library. Buy Xbox, you won't regret it.
