@Metallicwolf29 The definition of the word sequel is a continuation or follow-up. From that, I would say that CoD has sequels.

That's a too much of a generalization. Lots of innovating, fresh, and new games are released every year.

It would be a lot nicer if Treyarch (or Activision) would wait a bit longer, and release only 2 or 3 DLCs with bigger collections of maps. It sucks that that will never happen...
