To refute what an above poster said; I have a great gaming PC, yet I own a 360 and honestly believe it to be one of the best gaming-related purchases I've ever made.

Seriously..wtf..all the good games that come out on the xbox/xbox 360..come out on the pc anyways..halo..kotor..gears..lost planet..i mean its a freaking joke..when i buy the game it says (EXCLUSIVE XBOX 360)..I WANT IT TO MEAN IT..holy crap..good job microsoft..you just ripped off about 3 million people who bought a xbox to play gears and the other exclusives..I hope your happy

I think it was introduced as a Games for Windows game.. so it will require Vista to play. If that's the case thenbe thankful you don't have to upgrade your computer to play Gears since you already have it on 360.

It was and still is exclusive to Microsoft, you paid to play it a year earlier than the PC users and your purchase of a Microsoft product rather than Sony or Nintendo was justified assuming you liked the games.

I am just about 100% sure X07 is going to take over the role of making all of the big Microsoft announcements for'08 and onwards.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got info on Banjo 3 and the other 2 games Rare has in development.

Yes, as Kill Zone comes out in '08, therefore it is not a contender for game of the year.

Besides, by next year lots of better games will be out and Kill zone won't even be a contender next year.

Personally, I think all of you fanboys are putting too many of your eggs in the wrong baskets.. I mean, C'mon, Kill Zone 2? It looks good, but there have been plenty of games that looked good but handled like crap. I. E. Kill Zone 1.

You've got some pretty good looking games coming out on PS3, but quit trying to say you "pwn to teh maxxxorz" with the pretty sequel of a game that was also pretty and did terribly.

Because you have a wired controller? Although I actually prefer the wired 360 to the wireless controller, I don't think you can hold anything against wireless owners.

Killzone 1 was rated down specifically because of graphical glitches. Meanwhile, Gears of War was rated up because of high quality graphics.

Read the OP and find and quote where I said the word "pwn" and "Sony" or even stated that Sony was the best of the three companies in the shooter genre.

Can't say that I'm much of a fan of Gears of War, With all of the scenery the same color scene it gets boring to look at after a while. (Though it is initially impressive.)

To be honest, Wireless controllers do not hold a candle to the Wired ones, I have 2 wired controllers and no wireless, as they are lighter, and easier to handle than the wireless, unless you have your own personal theater and sit 50 feet back from the tv then there is no reason to not have a wire and spend a lot of extra money on batterys and battery packs.

Although rather pointless, and could probably get you moderated you make a good point.

I've never seen the big deal with all of the shooters, don't get me wrong, I like a couple.. Perfect Dark, Halo, Doom 3, and most recently The Darkness. But all of this bickering back and forth over who has the better console and weak claims and justifications to make themselves feel better for their purchase of a $400, or a $600 console are ridiculous.

I am a 360 gamer and though I only like about 2 of the PS3 games announced so far I am happy when we get some of your games, and you get good games like Oblivion and Fight Night. Unless you're getting paid by your respective companies there is no point in saying Halo 3 looks like a dreamcast game, it's stupid, and it makes you look equally so.

I think J. Allard was only in charge of the devices division, so his job was showing off and trying to promote the 360.

But I would've liked it if he was the main speaker at E3. He's pretty good at what he does, and very passionate.
