I thought the game looked fantastic, it is crazy and ignorant to say otherwise as I have seen some say. If it were to ship right now I would be perfectly happy with the graphical quality.

I thought KillZone 2 and Halo 3 were up to par with the graphical stylings each game was going for.. you can't really compare a colorful sci-fi environment, with a several shades of gray war environment. At that point it goes to personal opinion.

Haha, support for the mainstream games such as Halo, GTA 4, Gears of war, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, etc.. will not be going anywhere as long as there are gamers who will always be interested in investing in a well-built game.

The world of gaming is not ruled by casuals, and I do not think the Wii threatens either console in the slightest since it is a casual gaming machine, designed for pick-up-and-play entertainment.

I for one will always support a well-built game.

For future reference; Sarcasm is wasted over the internet.

If you played the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta then you would know that..

A) Halo 3 plays way better than both Halo 1 and Halo 2, and that was just a taste of what is to come.

B) Halo 3 playsdifferent than both previous iterations, the multiplayer felt like a brand new game.

C) Halo 2 should not have earned a 9.0 or above, but Halo 3 is looking to shape up to be a great 9.0+ title.

I'm not a fan of the PS3 at all and I chose yes, because even with the same color-schemed environment, the explosions and animations are looking good. It'll be interesting to see them in action. (Just to clarify, I wasn't a Gears of War fan.)

Also, I hope Sony can get out of their rut of largely lackluster FPS games so the fans of the genre can have a great gaming experience and push Microsoft to be more competitive with that genre.

Well the thing about it is, when everything is pretty much the same color your eyes get bored.

After playing Gears of War for a while the scenery isn't very fun to look at anymore as it's all the same color, and ultimately looks the same anyways.

Which is largely why Kill Zone 2 and Metal Gear Solid are unimpressive to me visually. (I've never liked the gameplay ofKillZone, MGS, or Gears of War.)
