-I think what he meant was that a lot of users on PSN don't have a headset. I find a lot of people with headsets on a game like MAG but it's multiplayer oriented, I play a game like Uncharted 2 online and I rarely find people with mics.

- In comparison to Live PSN has slower DL speeds, on top of having to install. I tested this with Army of Two 40TH day Demo and the DL on PSN was more then twice as long. Not only that but the patching is very slow. One instance about a year ago I tried playing MGO, the patch itself took about 25 minutes to download then another 15-20 to install. That is about 45 minutes just for me to start playing the game, when it's time to download a patch for XBL it takes less then a minute. The speeds of the services are not really comparable.

- Home is a neat feature, not very useful but nice. I'll give it that it's probably better then the Mii's are.

- Free is indeed awesome For what PSN is, it's definitely good and the obvious choice if you're not wanting to pay the couple dollars a month for Live, but when we compare features and quality Live is the superior service.

Also, PSN gets its own games just like XBOX LIVE.

Other than a better chat structure, both services are pretty equal.

The difference is, PSN is free, XBOX LIVE tries to charge you even if all you mostly want is to game online, which is a rip off.

AMD applies MLAA as a post-processing effect i.e. it blurrs the HUD. If MLAA was built into 3D engine, programmers canoptionally apply MLAA before the HUD.

On benchmarks, MLAA shown to be several times faster on PC's "fat" GpGPU than on CELL i.e. PC GpGPU is hardwired for image related processing. The PC uses the second brute-force AA method e.g. MSAA. The first brute-force being SSAA (SuperSampleAA).

Since PC's fat GpGPUs has excess GFLOPs compute resource**, LOG encode HDR can also benefit i.e. move the cost from bandwidth to compute. **you can see that with PC's SGEMM GpGPU benchmarks.

• Waiting for Netflix to upgrade your service to not need a disk PS3 has had various online services and features for movie watching for years, some are free. Netflix is but 1 service out of many for PS3 users.
• No voice chat due to no community Incorrect, PS3 does have voice chat
• Download speeds that make you want to throw your controller at your TV My Download speeds are normal...might just be you and your own internet connection
• No cohesive infrastructure I have no idea what you mean, perhaps you can explain better next time
• Dashboard is just that, a dashboard Thank God for Dashboards being Dashboards and not liver or something like that.....I hate liver
• The wonderful, useless, and empty Playstation Home Incorrect...I was just in home last night....lots of people use Home, and that was Christmas Eve
• It is all free (Except what you pay for in their other service) Free's awesome.....especially when free means not getting ripped off and paying to play games you've already paid for.

Why can't we all embrace that we have gotten to a point in hardware technology where 4 or 5 year old Technology can look great....not just good, but great.

GoW3 has some nice G70/RSX workarounds. Some of G70's workarounds can be use on PC's G7X and DX9c userbase i.e. MSAA + HDR FP doesn't mix very well.

Even AMD gave us the option to use MLAA** driver-side workaround for SC2 DX9c. For the first practical application on workarounds, Sony done a good job.

**PS; AMD has speed-up the general driver performance for SC2 in Cat10.12 i.e. high setting at 1600x900p smooth at last level on Mobility Radeon HD 5730.

To date, There is no PC game that has used MLAA better than the PS3.

That's partially why God Of War 3 is the best and won the award, because no game or system has done MLAA better.

Maybe when PC's can get Cell Processors, maybe that can change....maybe.

your counting illegally downloading movies and tv shows as a plus? okay.... there is a question...the fact your making up features the ps3s features and services are not more extensive and certainly not more liberal by far they are infact less. But the PS3 does have access to far more online services and features than the XBOX 360.

There's really no reasonable refutable argument.

They judge the PS3 games based upon the platform they are on, and I already posted this from an editor at gamespot. They do not use a direct comparison.

I just built a PC for around $399 that can run metro 2033 on directx 11 at very high settings. Your argument is flawed. I already have a PS3 and hit has good graphics, but it doesn't take much to beat that and the 360 on the PC side anymore.

Well if that's all true, then that's a major failure on the Part of the PC.

Apparently, the PC games and/or the developers are so incompetant that they can't even outdo "lowly" PS3 hardware specs.

And not just a one time 2010 fail....but a 3 time fail at that.
