You do realize the 360 only has a few less exclusive games than the PS3. Those exclusives cannot be played on the PC :?

That's already alot of profit right there for them.

That still doesn't change anything. Gran Turismo 5 development costs 80+ million dollars(source). That's just for development, without taking into account marketing. That's at least 100 million dollars for a new IP(since Sony owns Gran Turismo), that is a PC exclusive on top of all.

Sony funded GT5 and Sony will pay the costs to market GT5 and on top of that they have to pay sony $10 for every copy sold. So yes they could make the game on pc and make a profit and saying they can't is just denying the facts.

His solution is simple start making games for the PC.

Do you think GT games would sell as good on the PC as on the PlayStations?

And he'd still be restricted if he wanted a broad audience on the PC (so the game wouldn't only be for high-end PC users).
