Agreed. I doubt SONY can take the steps necessary at this point to avoid 3rd place overall this gen. I don't think they can hemmorrhage any more cash per console with a price cut, and they're late to the sowing up exclusives game so they'd have to throw even more money than MS did.
I have Halo 3 and CoD4, and honestly I couldn't decide between them. They are different types of shooters. If you are kind of bored with Halo 3, go for CoD4 (especially if you have Live!). Campaign and multiplayer are both a blast. Not necessarily better than Halo 3, but different.
The wild card IMHO is Orange Box. That is the #1 game I want to get. I chose my fall games carefully and Orange Box JUST BARELY missed the cut. I don't regret that, but I do want to play Portal something fierce.
Honestly theres so many people that keep saying that the PS3 is too expensive, it starts at 399, thats as a much as 360 goes for.
It's been like this for a while now so you guys need to get it through your heads, the PS3 is $399 and comes with all the features that the 360 SELLS seperately as ADD ONS.

$399 PS3 =/= backwards compatability.
$349 360 = backwards compatability.
I like not having to buy stuff I don't want/need.
PS3 is way too expensive for me. If I wanted any of the current games out for it, that would STILL be way too much for it.
