-People who don't tell you your fly is open...When it is!!!

It's pretty obvious why someone (or at least your peers) wouldn't tell you your fly is down.

Thing I love -

Girls

Music

Woods

Things I Hate -

Hypocrites

Gay People

The Word "itch"

Most popular music now-a-days

Blood-Scribe

Why do you hate gay people?

It is against the natural flow of nature...

Well then that would explain why homosexual and bi-sexual behavior has been prevalent in species other than humans...

Well put, I don't mind homosexual activity at all. So long as it's not whorish or happening to me.

I think gore movies are only scary to people with weak stomachs. If you really wan't to scare someone don't show too much, use little to no music, and then have something disturbing pop up on the screen in an instant with little warning or have something disturbing happen to the characters. Also I agree that you should be able to relate to the characters. You should be able to feel for them or relate someway and then you'll get scared because it could happen to you. I believe this is why most slasher films have failed recently because most of the characters portrayed in them are killed because of their own stupidity or had just plain bad acting in them.goshyn00

Weak stomachs can also be scared by roller coasters etc. And the point of being relatable to the characters is right on the ball. If I watch a horror movie, I intend to be scared. Not to have a gore fest on my hands. However if both are incoporated in a good way then you can have an epic movie on your hands.

Woot.....this thread is back :DHonenheim

My friend gave me a link from my discussion of whether Gore or Psychological was the best way to scare people.

Read some of 'em like the Hotel Room story and was a little to scared to sleep. Glad to see it's back also. ;)

The rain is just pouring down. It doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. Amy notices she is running low on fuel aswell so pulls into the next gas store. She looks around to see who's around. Its almost midnight so she can't be too careful. Inside she can see a weird hunch back man peering at her with his beady eyes.

She shudders as his eyes run across his body. Throwing on a jacket she climbs quickly out of the car and straight to the pump. Filling up her gas she keeps one eye on the man. The man is now eyeing up the back of the car. Why won't he stop staring? She rushes back into the car as the man opens the door and moves over to her.

"What do you want!" She shouts to be heard over the rain. He holds out his hand and points to the sign showing the price of fuel. She looks through her purse and lowers her window slightly. She hands over her card and the man waddles off back into his store. She takes a deep breath and wipes down the water her jacket is covered in. She goes to turn on the radio when..

BAAM! At her window BAM! She turns around quickly to see what the fuss is and is faced by the man. "Inside.. now.." The man spoke weakly "your bank .. want word" She smiles at him as if to say yes and he goes back. She delves straight into her bag and pulls out the mase. She bravely follows him in and walks over to the phone. He waits behind her as she picks up the reciever.

The phone is dead..

She doesn't dare look behind her. She turns abprutly and pushes past him. She makes it to her car but can't get her keys out quick enough. She can hear his footsteps behind her. "There.. wait.." The man shouted. She breaks her window and prizes open the car door. She climbs in and drives off before he can do anything.

"Waaait! He's there!" The man screamed in terror. Meanwhile..

Her nerves are shot so she turns on the radio. She takes to deep breaths and adjusts her mirror. What.. How? IS that what he said?

She noticed a dark shadow behind her as an axe swung taking her head clean off.

Possibly the best thread ever. :)

Not had too many experiences of the paranormal. Only once have I "thought" to have seen a ghost, but it could've been my eyes playing tricks on me.

I was soundly sleeping in my room one night, about five years ago. I was suddenly awoken from a loud noise, coming from outside. Since my curtains were drawn, I was unable to see what had caused the noise at the time. I sat there for a bit, waking up and wondering what the hell had made the noise. Eventually, I got down from my bed to open the curtains. And there "it" was. A silhouette of a small boy, he looked almost victorian from the look of his clothes. His facial features unable to be distinguished except for the two blue eyes. Staring straight up at me, as I stood there frozen. After about 3 seconds, I shut my curtains with great speed and ran towards my bed. Hiding under the covers. I dare not go downstairs at night anymore, for fear of seeing that boy... through the window.

My dad has also had one "feeling" of a paranormal presence.

About 20 years ago, my father was staying at a friend's house for a while. During the middle of the night, he awoke with a need to use the toilet. To get to the bathroom, he had to quietly walk through the kid's room. He quietly was able to reach the bathroom and do what he needed. As he exited the bathroom, and into the kid's room, he was suddenly stopped. There was nothing in front of him, yet it had felt as if almost he had walked into someone or a brick wall. He stood there a little baffled for a few moments, he then continued to walk towards the stairs. As he reached the middle of the stairs, he felt as if someone was watching him, from atop the staircase. He slowly continued to walk down the stairs, daring not to turn his head back. Unable to think what could possibly be watching him. He went to sleep a little uneased that night...

My father's friend moved out of the house shortly, as after doing some research after my father had told him of his experience. Apparently, and old woman had mysteriously died in the house. No blood or evidence of murder was found, but there were reports of sounds and things moving in the house late at night. Seems that there are haunted houses after all...

I do not get scared easily. I have yet to see a movie that could scare me really badly.
Of course, I jump sometimes, but who doesn't. That doesn't mean I get scared.

I DO get scared of some horror games though. Why?
Remember what you said? You found some movies to be scary, because you could be the victim.
Well, in games, you ARE the victim!

mastersword007

That's the very reason I've never picked up the game again, it seriously messed my head...
