You're using an rpg as an example. In this case you might as well label all shooters as generic which is hypocritical when you consider the countless JRPG's that are almost directly derived from older Final Fantasy games. If by derivitation you mean "holding a gun and shooting things" then you're only describing a genre and ignoring the variety between those games.

No, it's because he unfortunately holds the mindset of too many core gamers who see people brought in from the outside that are having fun with Modern Warfare 2, and then starts whining about how he's more entitled to judge games because he's been playing them longer. I've seen a lot of that on here, unfortunately.

And please, quote all the times I said that I'm more qualified than other people on these boards because "I've been playing games longer".
