I have no problem with FPS games, just make them interesting. My biggest concern with the game right now is no single player. A strictly multiplayer experience that is only 6v6 for $60. Just doesn't seem right.
I know what you mean. Forza 5 got ripped hard, and same with Ryse (which I enjoyed). But on the other side Killzone got a lot of heat too and I think that game is really good as well.
@bluebbo I wasn't referring to the Soundtrack, I was referring to the car sounds. Tire sounds and engine notes, to be more precise.
The lack of tracks are the biggest loss for me (a big deal), which I mentioned.
I never accuse anybody without good reason. Lack of experience which you're now testifying and/or lying both crossed my mind, now I'm glad I cleared it up.
@bluebbo You mentioned the only positive experience from Forza Motorsport 5 were the new responsive triggers. That implies you disliked everything else about the game that was a big improvement. How are the new physics, sounds, laser scanned tracks, and freshly rendered cars not an improvement enough to mention. For somebody who truly enjoys racing games, and racing sim's by extension, to play FM 5 and only mention Responsive triggers as the one take away improvement. Really man?
Lack of tracks, that's it. That's the kicker to me, you're absolutely right. Forza Motorsport 5 lacks Track Variety. Car Variety is far more subjective, as I've never found myself searching for a car that I miss driving from Forza Motorsport 4. I find myself all the time missing cars from Forza Motorsport 2, so by that logic, 2 is even better than 4 and 5.
If that truly is your opinion, I respect that.
I don't like seeing Forza comments all over Gran Turismo articles, just like I don't like seeing Gran Turismo comments all over Forza articles. And for somebody, who claims to share the same perspective on this particular annoyance, to bring it up on a GT article seems a little hypocritical.
Personally? I enjoy Call of Duty. I was implying the comparison was bad because CoD: Ghosts (current gen) to (next gen) looks barely better, if that. Where as I think Forza Motorsport 5 looks much better than it's 360 counterparts.
@mapulaproasta I'm going to make this as simple as possible.
A: That could be anybodies GamerTag.
B: His stats mean nothing to me, because all FM.Net will display are perfect turn scores, and a lot of things I really don't care about.
C: I could go through the tedious process of looking up his GT to see if he's selling any Designs, Tunes, or if he's sharing Pictures, Replays, add him to my favorites, and then look up his Leaderboard times. (Which I doubt are very good).
D: Or he/she could have accepted my challenge by replying, and set up an in-game match with me, which would have been far less time consuming.
Selection D would not only confirm the identity, but give said individual a chance to put his/her money where their mouth is.
@bluebbo Yeah, hear-say over the internet is extremely credible. I'm a fan of Gran Turismo, and Forza Motorsport. I find it extremely desperate that people feel the need to claim Forza Motorsport 5 is a terrible game to glorify Gran Turismo. People who play the game's know it's bull, so you're only persuading those who haven't not to purchase it. While, I'd like to think that everybody are good Samaritans, most people encountered over the internet (GameSpot) in particular, talk out of their behinds to bash a game they know nothing about. Which is what you've done.
Your CoD mention at the end of the comment ruined your credibility just a tad. But hey, I'll accept your challenge. I'm available right now on 360 or XB1.
