@mikel222222 They never really needed to make an MMO. A 1-4 player co-op, and some sort of PvP. That would have been very successful.

First of all, just to put myself out of the "Box" and focus on a different issue for a moment, think of all the people Gamestop employs, and all the jobs "Used Games" create. Do you think those companies are going to use those billions of dollars to create the opportunities that Used Games dealers do? Hell no. They're going to pocket that money and continue to milk every penny out of you. Look at all the stripped down material we buy now. DLC's are just about the "norm" for any game. So on-top of 60.00 within a few months you'll be closer to 100.00 in the game itself, and for what? A new level and a cool sword? Give me a break.

I personally disagree with all of you. I don't think any of the systems will drop out. I personally prefer the Xbox 360 to the Wii and the PS3. However, I can't say that the PS3 is a crap system, or technically inferior to the Xbox 360. The Nintendo is a house hold name at this point. Mario and Zelda will always continue to be popular. I think each company has enough loyalty in their customers, which is proven in the comments on this thread, that each has the capability to move forward.
