@Vagnar the main point is that Microsoft isn't making indies a secondary market... they will have all the benefits of big market publishers... also access to the social features... that could prove to be a huge boon. I wonder if Microsoft is going to make any of their analytical tools available for the indies so they can distribute free software to the users who seem to have the most influince
@Sefrix The concept is exceptionally interesting for developers who can leverage the full social features of the system as well. If you're an influential gamer you may find that companies will simply give you game in return for putting in a certain amount of time into that game.
@OldKye @Vegeta-sama Discoverability... at least on the Xbox One is going to be huge... if you gain enough friends and show that you have enough clout with those friends you may find that you'll get free games from developers...
wow Eddie two month old sources on that.... it's unlimited friends list now for Xbone... they mentioned it at the conference and I believe that Major Nelson said it again when talking with Angry Joe
there is no real reason that you can't do longer then a few minutes.... perhaps they want to get a feel of the impact this will have on the network befor moving forward
I was under the impression that they took out the failure because they didn't want people at E3 and ComicCon hogging the game playing the same spots over and over
@FartFastMcSpeed @Vegeta-sama @dr_jashugan their online system is at Xbox 360 launch levels... talking up features Microsoft has had for 7 plus years... their online service is crappy compared to Micrsofts and the 30 min updates and slow ass downloads attest to that.
