Are you by any chance referring to the Luminous Arc games for the DS, because I have never heard of any Luminous games on the PSP? Anyways, if you are, go with Luminous Arc 2. Better game overall.

Edit: Btw, they're SRPGs.

1) Is it possible to get Final Fantasy VII on the PSP?

2) If so, how much is it?

3) Is the gameplay overall fine? Such as sound, graphics, etc.

4) Is it in English?

1.) Yes. it can be bought on PSN. It's a PS1 Classic (a digital rerelease that can be played on both PS3 and PSP).

2.) $9.99 (in the NA store).

3.) It's the same game that was released on PS1 years ago. If that's what you want, then yeah, everything's fine. Personally though, I say it hasn't aged well at all (but this is coming from a person who did not play it when it first came out).

4.) Yes.

I love the Professor Layton games, and the Ace Attorney ones are OK but the characters do not suite 3D models, especially Layton. I know it's only a "minor" change but it has completely put of buying this, and any future games in either series till they revert back to 2D.

Ace Attorney is waaay better than Professor Layton. But I agree that I feel 2D models would've been better. Definitely still getting this though.

Though it's good to hear that PSN titles may be cheaper, I'm hoping they're wrong about the general pricing of physical games, because $60/game would push a lot of people away. They need to stay competitive, and I feel $40/game would do the trick.

I'm going to go with the cheapest one, then buy a bigger knockoff version, and once the price of the official one goes down, I'll get 32GB official one.

I have yet to play the second one, but I've read that the second one has the storyline for the first. From what I've seen of gameplay, it's pretty much the same difficulty, but with improvements.

So I'd say go with the second one, Dissidia Duodecim 012.

Most anticipated game right now. Even above Uncharted 3 and Mario. Seriously, I'm so hyped for this.

I did kinda wish they stuck with 2D models, but after seeing the trailer, it didn't look that bad. As for the voices, I'll put my faith in them picking the right voices, though I am having a hard time imagining how Phoenix Wright would sound.

I agree. I too am getting both. I actually prefer handhelds games (not iPhone) far more than home consoles recently. For some reason I just feel bored with home consoles. I think it's because consoles have reached a peak while handhelds are still improving. Plus they seem to way more diverse in selection. Oh, and they're portable (duh), which is nice.

I can't post links either. I don't know what's up with Gamespot these days...

Anyway, I'm happy Kirby finally got a game for the 3DS. Not sure if I'm gonna get it or anything....I'm actually interested in one of the older ones that I never played on the GBA....so I'll probably get that first.

darksongbird

Isn't Kirby Mass Attack for the DS? Or were you referring to an upcoming game?

Anyways, I've never played a Kirby game, so I'm glad this did well, as I'm planning to pick it up.

[QUOTE="Ventara"]

[QUOTE="RACiEP"]Ugh... why do Sony and Nintendo feel the need to waste so much plastic with the boxes for handheld games? Seriously, guys.RACiEP

There's something called recycling if it bothers you that much. Or better yet, there's PSN. Seriously, I don't get why people are aggravated by the fact that it has a case. Do you want Sony to just sell the game card by itself?

Are you kidding me? I love box-art. It's just that they don't need to make the case so huge in proportion to the game media. It's wasteful.

I have to say, these cases are not that big to me. They're smaller than the PSP cases and bigger than the DS ones. They look like they're roughly the size of my hand, which seems to be the right size, imo.

And again, even if you do feel it's extra plastic, it's not like people are gonna rip the case in half, throw one half into the forest, and use the other half for the game. I really don't see what's so wrong about the size of the case. It's small enough to fit in a bag and big enough to keep on the shelves for collection purposes and for a nice manual. It's not like anyone was planning to keep it in their pockets.
