Beats waiting for the patch

a few new actions that a lot of people have been asking for. The new actions are:

Cyber Jump
Crouch (Toggle)
Sprint (Toggle)
Walk (Toggle)
Objectives List (Toggle)
Direct weapon binding (read description here)
Lean modifier (read description here)

The new actions have been added to the binds list in the Options menu - bind them as you see fit.

Also, I've modified the default binds to ones that more intuitive than the original default binds (e.g. bound the Quick Access Wheel to MOUSE3, ala Crysis.) To use, just hit "Use Defaults" at the keyboard options menu.

Back in the day, I thought the first Driver was amazing... Until GTA3 came out.

Timk1931

Good point, so many games have done it better now and with lots more content.

I see people boasting about how good Driver1 was and all the rest are crap, why is that?

I never played Driver1 but I watched a bunch of videos and don't really see it as anything special.

Driver: San Francisco is out soon. I played the PS3 demo and found it horrible. The driving is not fun or challenging. Its another arcade mash the gas game with ramming police.

Can someone explain the essence of Driver1's attraction?

It's been the Most Popular page here at Gamespot for almost a week now. Kudos and wish much success to the dev for making a great game.

Hardcore PC game, made for PC, love it. If you want dumbed down and hand holding go elsewhere. You need to read, plan, figure out and learn this game. UI is excellent, not sure what the other poster is talking about. No other game out there like this game. Fairly complex allows lots of varied gameplay.

Its a combo of many good games in one, most notably Deus Ex, Stalker and 40k Warhammer. Great atmosphere, very solid gunplay, stealth works but needs to be learned and cloak. Glitches atm, most anxiously await a patch but still is perfectly playable in current form. Pretty much best game I've played since Stalker1.

Is the gameplay similar to the trailers? Idk, seems a bit complicated to me : (

DasBeerBoot

That why we like it so much, its not dumbed down crap like we've gotten for the last 10 years. Takes thought, reading and planning to play this game.

I bought E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy a little while ago, and put in 2 or 3 hours into it, enough to like and enjoy it despites its flaws. How is the mutiplayer side of this game? Is the CO-OP part of the main campaign? Does it make the game better or worse?

Brean24

Yes, you can play through the whole campaign in coop.

Depends. 2 ppl in coop is fun but 32 ppl in coop is stupid. I see SP and MP about equal, not better or worse. I prefer SP however cause I'm in full control of pace and what happens.

[QUOTE="VeryBumpy"]

It's been out since July 29th 2011 now. Great game btw.

DasBeerBoot

worth the money?

Depends. Do you want an average actiony shooter or do you want a game where you have to think, manage, plan, figure stuff out and shoot?
