I miss Demo's, i think its one of things that pops up when thinking back to the good old days and old systems. They certainly helped bring games we might never have seen or bought to our hands.
Early access tend to ask for more then the normal game would cost, pushing its deluxe and future dlcs on us. The game can turn to total shit or take forever to come out and your out more money. As if we needed more money lost to the side of full release games that ended up in disappointment. Early access isn't always so bad.
I just rather have a demo, it allowed us a few stages to play to get a good feel of the game without really spoiling it.
Beta's are bad, unless you get pretty much full access to the game. Looking at shit like Diablo 3 and SWTOR, they only showed a polished start.
There is no ladies in AC because they would be very OP. They could easily lure men, themselves, and assassin the dumb pigs. They would move more silent then men do, men are normally far heavier. I think the real problem is we would be Ninja-like performance instead of so far clumsy "assassin" play we seen.
That wasn't just from the different of 900p vs 1080p was it?, it looks like other things were reduced as well. I been playing Destiny on PS4 and didn't need to see a side by side comparison to see Xbox is more blurry. The comparison slides were nice o see exactly how much of a difference.
Well, this is pretty much what PS owners have saying why PS is better, the extra muscle gives such a difference. I'm sure they could have push the PS4 even more and increase the fps.
Subscription based mmo's that turned F2P are mmo's that failed, normally to what seems greed as they were in no hurry at all to fix the large enough issues that far more then 1/2 of their subscribers leave. I just mean to point out that games don't go to F2P over subscription base cause its better, but cause its the only way for them to re-grab at players.
Subscriptions have always seemed to be better games, they allow faster content, fixes, security, etc. Well, unless they are greedy bastards... but we have clearly seen players leave those mmo's. I just rather pay a sub for a good MMO then get hit by all sorts of microtransactions from F2P and it would still be requiring a sub.
F2P is fine so long as its cosmetic and doesn't restrict the hell out of you to heavily push you to sub, if its going to go F2P... then go fking F2P i say. F2P is notorious for just trying to milk people to death.
Destiny is looking good enough for the asking price, but its going to have to offer more in so many different areas to be great. All we got is a beta so its hard to say, but it would appear that game is lacking basic small things, things shown in videos, and things that should have been put into the game. I know that is vague, but on the forums you can find a lot of good or great things people have been asking for. IMO, game is off balance, but not enough that you can't enjoy PvP and look past it since its in beta.
Xbox still hiding its sale figures so not to spook those who are still deciding on a PS4 or XB1.
Bioware wants to listen to their fans?, what is this nonsense. RPG's need exploring with challenging side quests, if its good enough to play your going to want to explore its world.
Its hard to say, but its a sure thing that if it were not for competition between the systems then neither would be trying hard to bring out a whole new experience(next-gen). Playstation-4 would not have been so great, and Xbox would have tried to fk over its fans even harder.
Hopefully, in 6-8 years, the next systems get released and Xbox does things right for its remaining fans. As it stands it would seem that Playstation is surely still out selling Xbox 2 - 1 or more. Perhaps Xbox has caught up some currently, but Playstation is now taking their shot with bundles. Really want to see how things will stand come the end of the year.
Now if only Nintendo would smarten the fk up, its just such sad hardware. The only reason is doing well is cause people are bored so they're buying it, its gonna die out like the Nintendo Wii did.
