[QUOTE="Vicious_T"]So X360 will break down within a couple of years with many disc read errors etc. Sorry to say but Sony knows how to make hardware..slower drives last longer..an with the addition of harddrive on every PS3..bye bye load times. PS3 FTW.magus-21
Yes, it means more wear and tear. However, you forget that BluRay is a very new technology, whereas DVD is tried and tested. BluRay requires more precisely machined parts, which translates into more delicate parts and thus making BluRay drives just as vulnerable to wear and tear as a DVD drive.

I doubt the mechanism for drives has changed much. Bluray technology is really just the laser an disc itself.

Speed really isn't VF5's selling point, it's DOA4's.

VF5's selling points are its visuals and its dedication to accuracy in fighting styles, etc.  VF5 is to Forza as Tekken is to Burnout.

CarlosPontinas

Speed isn't DOA's selling point either. Its boobs, breakable backgrounds, boobs.

VF5 is fast depending who the player is. I know you haven't seen cpu vs cpu battles. They are inhuman in control an the characters play insanely fast.

DOA is a billion times better than VF5. It's also A LOT faster as well as prettier. VF5 is a homage to 20th century software.

I have all DOA games and frankly they all suck.

Why don't I believe you? Oh and BTW I have all DOA games for real and they're a lot better than VF5. Even DOA2.

With all that hate for VF games, I doubt you even have VF5.

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="sm66612"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="sm66612"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]And about 2 minute loads in between those fights. *Is a sad panda*sm66612

WTF! VF5 loads really fast on my PS3.

In between saving replays, switching menus, and loads it takes approx 1.3 minutes between fights. *Has it*

Nope! It's really fast for me.

Maybe you're just lucky or are lieing? I'm sitting here playing as that Muay Thai guy against my buddy in an item match. It is taking fooooreeeverrr to get between matches.

Did you install the Game Data into your hard drive? The longest loading time for me is when I start up the game and it loads the game data.

VF5 loads fast on my PS3. 95% of matches load less than 10 seconds. Load times were never a problem at all.

I thought I kick butt using Jacky Bryant but when I watch spectator mode cpu vs cpu..OMG VF5 is like the fastest fighting game ever created. 45 second rounds, cpu pummels one another within 20 seconds or less. The fighters move so damn fast. Akira is super fast. Heck even the huge wrestlers stereotypical slow fighters, Wolf, Jeffrey...OMG they are super fast. No one character is slow if VF. I can see how Sega kept this game off line.any lag will kill it..but still wish they had the option.

Yes...Gears of Wars looks good but its not eye popping unbelievability like say Crysis is. The textures are low resolutions and since its played in 3rd person view..the developer had the advantage of keeping close up shots from being too close up if you know what I mean. Nice way to hide low rez textures from being to up close an personal revealing its ugliness....and why in this day an age do dead enemy bodies still disappear in a fps? Whats worse is the cheap blood splat in place of it. I want to walk over dead bodies. At least in RFOM dead bodies actually stay and RFOM has tons more enemies.

I was expecting too much for Gears of War...but again the hype only revealed dissapointment.

[QUOTE="Vicious_T"]I don't know why anyone would praise Perfect Dark Zero as X360's graphical achievements cause its definately not. Many levels look bland with low polygon models. The game helped coined the term Xbox1.5. Yes its that bad. And no please don't post screen shots of walls an textures, thats not representative of how horrible everything else looks in the game. Its like they have 20 different artists make up the game, each scenario might look good or horribly bad depending on the artists skill. PD0 is a jumble mess of artistic and graphicx crap.

Kameo: Elements of Power - This game is horrible. Artistic side it is also a jumbo mess. Its like a tech demo on every level, be it lighting, shaders, bump map, and jumbo together to make a game. Sorry this game is not the epitome of graphics ok...Yes it looks good..but so does any platformer last gen from Sony, Nintendo.

Btw Rareware has gone downhill ever since they left Nintendo.

Funny you didn't mention Viva Pinata. That game looks and plays like a dream, but I guess mentioning it here would show that your thesis doesn't hold water. And saying PD0 and Kameo look bad is subjective. I think they both looked better than anything the PS3 has at launch.

You think they look good cause you been playing crappy graphics games. Trust me, its like you just don't know what good graphics is..I don't doubt your reasoning but you just haven't experienced good graphics to correlate.
