Look. Did i not speak the truth when i said microsoft turns everything they touch into gold? They succeed at everything they do. There company is so large there is always a way! I mean after the years micro entered the indusrty they have launched the best quality system last generation even though it clearly sold almost 2 years after. They have also lauched a great system this generation with a few minor flaws that were severly compensated. They obviously know sony is the target not nintendo! I can try to have a intlegent conversation with you but ill only try once!

As far as a real controler and a real selection of HIGH quality games, with the biggest library i dont care how many clueless parrents buy a Wii because they know the name witht he indusrty. There are alot more kids than middle aged and teens who play games id say. As far as what real games that simply kick @@@ such as halo3, gears, boishock, third party titles and the greatest online services know too man imo!

iIf anything thanks to the hype Halo 3 was one of the biggest letdowns of this generation (imo).

As for the article, its laughable. The story wasent fleshed out, it was a complete mess, the dailouge was terrible, and the characters were shallow and uncharasmatic (arbiters redeeming character was destroyed). The level design fluctuated from great to terrible, and the gameplay was exactly the same Halo that we had been playing in 2001. The Multiplayer was very good however. Its not a bad game, its just not that great.

Methinks the 'reviewer' needed to play moredifferent shooters, let alone use their piece o bash the Wii.
Pretty poor review in the end.

I agree and i love halo ill say this. I we all simply knew the entire story for halo3 a year before it came out with the books and info grubing fanboys like me, but i think the online multiplayer has set itself apart from the single player. I have always siad that if halo4 dont have a single player it will be like Turok Rage wars and have all multiplayer and all maps, weapons, and a bunch of new stuff to add too the trilogy. Sorta take a smooth break from single player. Bungie dont even need to foucs on it. I could go without it for more MP content!

When there is no more story to be told Halos multiplayer and game engine will always be around and there will always be a halo for many many many years.

Im telling everyone these are Microsofts original plans since they own Halo now! Its simply a addiction!

But answer to your question specifically, didn't Sony promise all of this last year including Home as well? We have been fighting Sony's promises from the day we entered the market and if you remember at that time it was all about PS2 being an online cybercity with partner announcements from the likes of RealNetworks and AOL. Then three years ago at E3 they showed what PS3 games would supposedly look like with the Killzone 2 video, that we are now learning will ship four years later. That means that we will have shipped Gears of War and Gears of War 2 before they can even get Killzone out the door. Think back to GDC 2007 when Sony promised to leap ahead in online with the Sony Home unveil. Here we are two years later and multiple delays for a product that has appears to have little to no buzz. Where are the achievements? The friends list integration across all games? Where is the long-promised video store? Where are all the other products using and networking with their CELL chip? How come Blu-ray did not result in better games? What happened with Sixaxis and rumble? Where is the complete 1080p game library we were promised? If Blu-ray as they said would be such a catalyst to PS3 console sales, then why have PS3 sales over the past couple months not seen any lift since the format victory?

Damn. This is ownage the likes of which System Wars rarely sees. :lol:
