Oh really...have you ever heard of The Sims? Wait, have you ever heard of the Wii's Miis? What a rip-off!!
Ok, people seem to have the compulsory need to compair Home to something. Thats fine, if your brain works like that and has to work it out slowly then thats fine. It IS like Habahotel and tose types of games, but keep in mind that those games are hugely popular. Second can't you see how they use the awsome power of the cell to imbed video and HD content. 360 and Wii can't do that. The customization that Home gives a player is a million times more in depth than Mii, and 360 has nothing of the sort except maybe, Oh look I can change theis tiny 150x150 image of me that I can choose from a small list of 100 images. And let not forget that Home hs in it arcade machines. Not a hafe assed "pay me $10 and play this game" that M$ has. Its totlay itagrated. The user created content is unparalleled. Remember that PSN is Open, meaning its content is not contolled by Heir Gates. The final verdict is, Home is coming whether you like it of not. And sure, its not %100 original, but that isn't everything. They have taken the best of everything and put it togeather. After All "A smart person finds the solution by trying many different ideas. The smater person looks at what has been done, and inproves upon them." (or however that goes.)
I agree.. seems ridiculously overkill. Obviously they are trying to 1-up MS and Nintendo and it comes across looking overworked. This isn't what real gamers want, imo... you're entitled to your own opinion so don't flame.CellienLike I say, its all based on personal tastes. I'm a casual and this will bring me to my PS3 more often then with just games. And if you hit a lul in games comming out (Like 360 is now. I haven't played it in months) then its good to have something you can play around with. P.S. Hail LBP
Personally i like the idea of HOME. But still, with "additional items available from the store", it seems like sony are pulling every trick out of the hat to try and narrow down that money loss on every console they sell.Yes, but its that really wrong. Its still free. I like it. 'll pay a few bucks for some things. I just hope they don't pull a M$ and charge you 5 bucks for a 100kb tshirt image.
