This is bad, I mean I hope they don't commit suicide but this protest isn't going to do anything unfortunately. This is China we are talking about, it's a communist country and there are NO human rights there (just like every other communist coutnry), many people in China work in dangerous conditions for inhumane hours and meager pay (99% of Chinese people make hardly anything, and they all get paid the same), many of them work in toxic and polluted environnents aswell.
To make matters worse, Chinese socitey is very sexist and places men far above women, and many couples have abortions when they find out that their offspring is a girl (you can only have one child in China) so they try to get boys instead. What the scary thing is though, is that China is an economic super power and still growing. I wish we wouldn't have any trade with them or any other country that oppresses people, we shouldn't have anything to do with communist countries in the first place.
IMO we sould ONLY trade with other democracies, I don't care if it would make things more expensive, our trade with China is only hurting our economy in the long run. Oh and for the Cows (I know I am a bit of one too), don't try to use this as "ownage" against MS, Sony does the same thing that MS does, they have plants in China and you can bet that they are just as nasty. Everything is made in China, and 360 fanboys who think they are supporting an American Company are navie, 360 is made in China so it doesn't help the US economy at all.
I hope these workers end up getting what they want, and I hope they don't commit suicide. I wish they would manufacture the systems here in the US, not only would it help create jobs but it would also help the Economy. But seeing as how our government sucks, I doubt we are going to get that any time soon. Oh and for the record, no one is going out of business, that inlcudes both MS AND Sony.

China is starting to take hold of its companies. My dad works for quite a large global company which is one of many pulling out of China because of this. I say: "We can't ever compete with China's supercapitalism." To which my economy ex-teacher responded: "No need to worry. We have something they don't have. They are not as relaxed. Soon the stress of all this work will halt China's economic advance and we will end up in a position to compete."Eventually China will graduate from a developing nation to a developed nation. Inflation and standard of living, and thus wages, will increase until they're on par with the U.S. and Europe and they won't be able to compete as strongly as they do now.
