...can you at least remember that despite being launched a year later than the 360 it has still managed to catch up to the 360 in the numberof high scoring exclusives? that is an impressive feat.

ForzaGearsFace

not when you had the market cornered at an 80 percent marketshare. You think next gen Sony is going to do anything, or have a chance? They are probably not gonna even try. What Microsoft did was the most impressive, there is no way around this, you act like they were on even footing at the beginning of this gen.

Sony had next to no competition last generation. By the time the Xbox came out, the generation was half over. All they had was the non-gimmicky GameCube to compete against and they had 3rd party exclusives like GTA III that really pushed the system's sales.

It isn't that Sony failed this gen, although their launch was horrible, it's more that the other two companies actually brought something to the table this year (a year headstart and casual friendly motion controls). Instead of blaming Sony, why don't you perform some actual analysis for a change?

I think it depends on whether said stereotype is negative or how your preconceptions affect your treatment of people.

If you, for example, deny someone a job because you hold the sterotype that everyone from that ethnicity is lazy or stupid, then yes, it is a "bad" stereotype. If you give someone a job because of a stereotype that everyone from that ethnicity is good at smart or hardworking, then no, it's probably not "bad".

Like Carlin said, words are not bad, it's the context in which they're used.

People believe all kinds of stupid crap. Remember, 85% of the U.S. population believe there's an invisible man that created everything in existence despite there being absolutely no evidence.

People believe everything in a 2000 year old book is true. A book whose stories occurred 1400 - 5000 years before we knew the earth was round or that it orbited around the sun. A book that has been translated and retranslated dozens of times from its original language. A book whose stories were originally passed through word of mouth (think of the game Telephone) because almost nobodywas literate.

I like American Dad and Futurama better these days. Family Guy just got stale. Roger from American Dad consistently cracks me up.

Not me. Her music irritates me, he eyes are freakin' huge, and the stupid wigs....don't get me started on the wigs.

I dig blue eyes on a brunette, but her's are the size of a cow's.

She's amazing, total wife material in my book.

Looks like hit it and quit it material to me....

Completely agree. I'd bang, but I wouldn't hang.

Lesnar or Overreem?

Personally, I'm pulling for Overreem. Lesnar seems like a d!ck. The fight is a toss-up though.

Get a motivation

Stop being depressed all the time !

TehFuneral

Exercise really helps to fight depression. It fires up the natural dopamine production in your brain.

For a NYE card, this is a pretty sh!tty card. I'm looking forward to the main and Cerrone vs. Diaz only.

Man I miss Pride...they really knew how to put on a good NYE card. UFC cards a top heavy and then utterly lacking after the top two fights. Thank god for Sopcast, because I certainly wouldn't pay to watch 90% of their cards.

jfcundiff

They are having a NYE show in Japan tonight as well. Fedor, Sakuraba, and a bunch of others.

I can't believe Sakuraba is still fighting.

A lot of this depends on what equipment you have available. Do you have a gym membership? If so, you should definitely start some weight training. There are only a couple of lifts you really need: squat, deadlift, military press (over the head press), pull up, and push up. Add in some core work and those are the bases. I would definitely recommend working with a trainer for a couple of weeks if you can afford to, otherwise research proper technique online. Squats and deadlifts can be dangerous lifts if performed improperly.

Here's a good program that both builds endurance, muscle, and strength. It's called the german body composition workout.

Pick a body part (chest, back, legs, biceps, triceps, shoulders) and three exercises for that body part. Perform the first exercise with a weight you can only perform for 6 reps. Rest 10 seconds and then perform a the next lift with a weight you can only perform for 12. Finally, your last exercise you will perform 25 reps. Rest only 10 seconds between each of the 3 exercises. When finished with the 3 lifts, rest for 2 minutes and repeat the circuit for 3or 4 sets depending on your fitness level.

If you have access to a stationary bike, that will help strenghten your ankle. Cardio is important. Not only will it help your endurance and weight management, but it will actually raise your HDL (good) cholesterol and strengthen your cardiac muscle. The only time cardio becomes unhealthy is when you're an extreme endurance athelete, like marathon runners or competitive cyclists.
