Seriously, if people think 12 hours are a short game, I honestly don't know which games they are playing. 12 Hours is a good mileage, especially nowadays with CoD games, Gears of War etc. they all last 8 hours at tops. 12 hours with replayabillity, that is quite a treat imo.
@truecross Uhm.. From what experience does that answer come from? Personally Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell and Thief performed rather well in many cases as stealth games. I agree there are games that try to include stealth as a main part of the game but falls quite short, Dark Messiah was one of those imo, but you're exaggerating I'd say.
Not gonna happen, nope, nada, don't believe it.I think MANY gamers, including me, love to hold a physical copy of a specific game, even more so when you can purchase a Collector's Edition or the liking. I do not see it happening that ALL gaming companies and distributors in the next 10 years go to digital, that is just outrageous as it goes against the wishes of the public, in other words their customers. Stupid stupid stupid. HOWEVER I do believe we'll see an increase in digital distribution and services like Onlive etc.
Diablo 3 is just not nuanced at all, it's too simple and just flat. As it was mentioned in the video, they should have gone with a character system much like D2, in this game its all about the loot and who has the best items, it's not about builds or skills anymore, as said its just to simplistic!
@EE061003 uuh.. I've been playing for 10 consecutive hours, I've just now hit Act 2. Don't go ahead and sprint through the game, just like some people do with Skyrim. Explore the dungeons and many areas and find some good loot on the way (:
