I'll be playing the hell out of Halo 3. It will be the first game to really tear me away from my PS3 since I bought it. All of the guys on my floor are big gamers so we're going to have countless LAN games of co-op and deathmatch.

If you're playing in SD then you won't notice any difference at all. Blu-ray discs are designed specifically for HD so without an HD receiver it's pointless to get them.

Personally, I think Haze looks great. It's down to that and UT3 for this list. I'd probably pick UT3 over any of the others. COD4 will be incredible but I'm getting that for my 360.

Are you serious? When I watch regular DVD's on my HDTV they look incredibly grainy and pixellated. Much worse than when I watch in SD. But once I get something that plays in 1080i it looks unbelievabley vivid and clear. Don't really know what to tell you, you're the first person I've ever heard say that HD looks no better than SD.

I'll be buying it once it's out, I just haven't decided between the PS3 and 360 versions. Is either one lead console?

Probably heroic co-op, then try legendary. I can't connect to Live here so all I can do is master the campaign with the occasional LAN match.

Awesomeness, the new controllers should be totally boss. How soon will the old games be updated? The only thing I'm missing on that list is Ninja Gaiden.

And I don't mean to digress from the current discussion, but can anyone clue me into R6V? I have it for the 360 but I'd love to try it for the PS3. Anyone know if the gameplay/controls/online/graphics etc. are any better than the 360 version?

I will if I can find a ver reasonably priced one online somehow. But even then I'm not sure since I have no way of connecting to PSN here and therefore have no way of updating my games to include rumble, and paying extra for one now to use for games I'll be getting in several months makes no sense.

I thank god everyday Sony didn't settle on the boomerang design. Actually, the fact that they went with the current sixaxis is proof there is a god.

Seriously, the old dual shock controller for the PS was one of the best controller designs ever. I'm nothing but satisfied that they've just refined the old tried-and-true model throughout their new projects. The only controller I've ever preferred was the 360 controller, but I've been using the Playstation models for so long that playing with sixaxis is second nature. Only without the annoyance of a cord.

Did I say that I was dissapointed with my PS3 and Sony? What I meant to say was I love waiting months on end for games that usually end up being postponed or falling short of the standards that they should be at. I totally endorse Sony's decision not to fight for the exclusive titles that would make their system really shine. All in all I guess you could say I just really thinkSony is doing a wonderful job, or at least that I whatI have to post becauseif I state my true opinion like in my last postit gets deletedfor no other reason than someone higher up disagrees. Seriously, what a joke.

Try being completely pessimistic and impatient about everything. That might make everything better.
