@kdogpa: Daily missions + World tiers fit good with the new loot system. No need to grind anymore. I get you feeling there: I played Hardcore for a couple of months and then left because it became tedious and I was barely getting any reward for the time put into it.
Came end of last year to see the changes that patch 1.4 did and I'm back to enjoying the game again. It's a game that is good to have there to play in parallel with another one.
Having to buy the DLC, to get most of the good stuff, however, can indeed be a deal break for a lot of people.
