@cheeseweasel24: Man, I really have to tell you this. I do hope I don't get too personal:
Some people are, indeed, miserable. Some of that people are frustrated with they life and instead of finding ways to improve their situation, they don't want other to succeed: they want others to fail in their dreams so they feel "less bad". (we have a saying for this in Spain: "The misfortune of the many is the relief of the fools")
Your mother may have done that to you, but you did not do that to your son: you broke the chain, and you want your kid to fulfill his dream; to achieve something that was denied to you.
That is what a good parent does. I salute you, man. Respect.
@wasteland2058: That is... complicated. But it is indeed an interesting question. My grandmother was a horrible person, and everything wrong with my old man is because of her (he turned up a fine man in general, luckily) but he was still caring for her until the end.
Not sure if I would do the same if my mother was a monster, but hey... you never know.
Time will tell, but he better be sure about his words because just like you said, he may regret it when he realizes there is no undoing for this.
@n0matter: You are right, it is well known actors are unable to fulfil any role other than one. And ONLY ONE single role, for the entirety of their career. Just like you are unable to write a single positive thing like... ever in the comments of this website.
Have you talked to Thanatos2k yet? I think you two would get along. You could compete to see who gets more attention here :)
@Barighm: I doubt he can for more than 48 minutes, honestly.
He has been around here for years, always negative, always hating everything.
Some people just get a feeling of being special or relevant by being like this. Not sure if this applies to him, but I think his is case is endemic at this point.
