A note in the article: "seeing its arrogant disregard for its fan base gives me pause." Not only pause; It pisses me off. Soon they will have no fanbase at all... they really seem to have ZERO consideration for them. I worked at EA for 2 years, but you don't need that to see how sadly true that is.
People don't like the ending and they complain... Bioware decides to add stuff after actively listening to fans and now the answer is that they "no longuer respect the company" Meanwhile I've spend a full week trying to dodge ending spoilers since I have not yet finished the game (you know, having a work and a life prevents you from finishing the game in 3 days, suing the company you are fan of and that stuff) because of that bunch of people unable to control their comments. Bioware: glad you expand the ending instead of changing it; you don't give up 100% to selfish and childish rants and also does that don't want a change only need to pretty much ignore the update you release. Oh, and your community need a cleanup; it has been proved how filed it is with un-respectful know-it-all's that think they could write better stories than you. Now I'll forget all this BS ever happened, because thinking that I work in the industry for people like that makes want to puke. Note: Not interested in you answers here anymore, so don't waste your time writing; you already had your chance to put a decent argument over the table.
@Gelugon_baat Heh! and it's not like they didn't try with the "Games for Windows" stuff ;) Thankfully that didn't worked for them, It could mean a lot of trouble for PC developing studios...
@Gelugon_baat Halo 2 was unplugued around one year ago. And indeed people was still playing when that happened. I would like to see that guy saying "who cares" in the same situation that people had to suffer.
In the future, when they cut the online from Mass Effect 3, it will be impossible to do 1000/1000 (or "platinize") the game. Last time I read Microsoft and Sony guidelines that was against their regulations...
I'll have to find time to go through this one, at least deserves some attention. @Vince21C I understand how you try to defend you point of view, but trowing direct insults makes you loose all credibility. Just ignore that guy or the comment section will overload with 1-to-1 harsh arguments.
Point 2 and 3 are personal and understandable... point 1 is acceptable too from a respectfull perspective but... Still don't understand how people can be so upset about homosexuality potraited in Mass Effect 3 and feel indifferent about the human-alien inter-racial relationships the game also offers...
