At this point, I'd say game developers have had enough time to work with both consoles. I have both the PS3 (80GB) and the 360 (Elite), and I'm just still not too sure which one has the better graphics. YES, I'm a graphics whore.

First off, PS3 has HDMI 1.3... a different? Yes, over the Elite's 1.2 - are game developers utilizes 1.3, I don't know (probably not).

Now, when I talk about the graphics for these two consoles, I'm not talking about the past games that the PS3 had difficulty with, but rather the games have been just released, and soon to come.

Sorry :(Everyone will disagree with you. The mayority has stated MGS4 is the Graphics king and Gears comes in 3rd. Give up already.

Everyone hasn't played MGS4 and Gears on a Full HD 47 Inch. Besides, in the other thread, when a guy asked if MGS 4 was the graphics king, 13 answered no, 1 anwered yes and 1 maybe, as of 6th page.

1) I have played Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

2) I have never said that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots' graphics are dull or bad.

3) I have said that its graphics are awesome.

4) Gears of War's graphics, in my opinion, are better.

5) And there is nothing that is going to change me mind. I have played both games on a very, very good TV and I know which one is the best.

6) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots' graphics are very good, but Gears of War's Are Better, in my opinion. And nothing is going to change it, so quit embarrasing yourself like saying that I've said that MGS 4's graphics suck.

Gears > MGS4, graphics, imo.

Graphics wise I think MGS4 looks better then gears. Gears 2 though looks better then MGS4. And we already know MGS4 is a better all around game then gears period. Gears 2 may be better gameplay wise and more fun but it better be strong in every area this time if it wants to reclaim GOTY this time around beause we already know MGS4 is.
