Hello my fellow English Speaking natives!

Anyway, i don't know what is wrong with me, what happened to me, or to be more accurate what is my problem.

By reading this thread, you are able to judge me, yes the ''Topic Creator'', how my english is at the moment. Ok, i am from Norway and we are learning English at High School. Before High School, my english was like, let's say ''Okay'' not bad and not good. I really want to know what my ''basic'' problem is, 1 week ago i had english exam and i wrote an essay and when i got it back, the result was nothing i have ever expected. I don't know anymore, not only my english is going downhill but some other subjects aswell. I am getting more and more skeptical of my education. Either it is the teachers, the way they judge or it is just me.

What do you guys have to say about this? Thanks for reading, you can flame, put in lame comments all you want. I just want some positive results. Thank you!

Link is down. However, i could guess it was Soulja Boy?

Nevertheless, mainstream rap today are wack! Listen to real Hip-Hop, the underground and Old School. Tupac, Naught By Nature, Guru, K-Otix, Cormega, Gangstarr and Wu Tang.

[QUOTE="Jaks_Secret"]Okay, let's just end the topic at this; that picture is mega-creepy, Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur were amazing, and Jay-Z is the best rapper out there now.R0cky_Racc00n

Wrong. Jay-Z is the self-proclaimed best rapper out there. I can think of five rappers who are way better.

Slug (Atmosphere)

Eyedea & Abilities

Aesop Rock

Murs

Sage Francis

Brother Ali

Ghostface ****s on all them.

Wu-Tang beat em all! (Even though Ghostface are with em) :P

Brother Ali- "Picket Fence"

I guess you could say that's the equivalent of emo rap. But emo rap isn't really a cIassification I'd use to describe anything in rap...Orlando_Magic

By listen to the lyrics, very deep one and emotional. Reminds me of Tupac somehow. Thanks for the Song.

@Yesiknowmyen I respect your opinions regarding Tupac and greater Underground Artist, and i understand it is hard to catvh what black rapper spit out yet Tupac speaks clearly and his metaphors is deep, listen to Dear Mama, Temptation, Pain, Changes and Keep ya head up he is dope. Otherwise if you are looking for other ''Great'' underground rapper who ain't talking about Bi**** and ho*s then i highly recommend Cormega, KRS-ONE, Cunninlynguists and especialy K-Otix. ;)

Well, Jay-Z is the best rapper that mostly everyone knows. For more "underground"ish stuff I'd have to go with Aesop Rock, or Captain Steve and the Scurvy Crew. http://www.myspace.com/captaindanJaks_Secret

LMAO!! CaptainDan, i am laughing! Hahaha that's a real sh1t right there!

[QUOTE="Welis"][QUOTE="YesIKnowMyEnemy"][QUOTE="Welis"][QUOTE="USSJAndrew"][QUOTE="ElBanano216"]

Notorious B.I.G had an album out called Ready to Die

One of the song titles on the album is Suicidal Thoughts

Emo? You be the judge.

YesIKnowMyEnemy

Badass song, probably my favorite track from Biggie...

I just gave it a try, man it is dope that he wrote that song when he was high, kinda freaky at the same time at the end of the song when you hear his heart stops pumping. Yet he stated: Biggie stated that he was high on marijuana when he wrote this song and did not feel suicidal; rather, he would be relieved from stress if he were dead.

Guess he wasn't ''emo'' if i am allowed to say that.

Listen to God's Bathroom Floor by Atmosphere. Do it.

Just listened to
Atmosphere - God's Bathroom Floor and i must say it is a very strong drug addict song, very strong. This is a very good song i must say, thanks!

Slug isn't actually addicted to drugs. I don't know where he got the inspiration for the song, it's uber old, but it's about ketamine addiction. Listen to God Loves Ugly, Flesh, Trying to Find a Balance, Always Coming Back Home to You, Say Shhh, and anything else by him. He is honestly the Best rapper.

I really like Listen to God Loves Ugly, really remarkable lyrics powerful as well! And i've just heard Trying to Find a Balance, really chill and i didn't knew he was white (No Racist) real dope. But i have to disagree he is not the best rapper around but that is your opinion. In my honest opinions there are no ''Best'' rapper around today, only Tupac because he is a Legend and made tons of songs and released tons of albums etcs.
