He made the guy get on his knees and apologize before beating him? This makes the beating pretty much unecessary as he has already been humiliated. I'd rather get my ass kicked then get down on my knees and apologize. Both guys in this situation are pretty lame.

Obviously most relationships between high schoolers never last. Everyone knows this.

However Hopeless is using the fact that they had sex within a month as the reason they won't last. This is truly ridiculous and shows that Hopeless has little to no knowledge about women or relationships in general. If a girl is sexually attracted to a guy she is in a relationship with it is natural to have sex. Not doing so would only show that the girl is insecure.

When you say asked do you just mean you asked her to hang out and nothing happened yet? If that's the case don't be celebrating yet. (unless you are like 14-15 in which case you're probably in). Congrats on getting some balls though.

Excluding white lies and things like letting people down easy almost never. If you get involved in a big lie you'll usually end up stumbling and there are few things more damaging to your reputation then getting caught in a huge lie.
