More games need to kick competitive multiplayer to the curb like this and put more focus on a deep single player campaign. The market is already oversaturated with FPS multiplayer games. It's silly for a developer to think that their multiplayer mode will pull anyone away from CoD or Battlefield, so there's no reason to waste time on developing a gameplay mode that will be forgotten in days. As long as the single player game is longer than 4-6 hours, this is a great and welcomed change.

@exedeath The difference is that this isn't an ad for Nintendo, it's for Bridgestone featuring a Wii as a promotional prize.

@brxricano The only problem with that is that this isn't the first Bridgestone ad that Jerry Lambert has been in. The current Bridgestone ad campaign launch during the last Super Bowl, and he's been in the ads since then. It wasn't an issue that he was appearing in other commercials until he appeared in this particular commercial playing Wii.

I think this is all going to come down the terms of Jerry Lambert's contract, but then again, the ad isn't for Nintendo, it's for Bridgestone, and they're NOT Sony's competitors. It's not like they hired Lambert JUST for that ad. They didn't. He's appeared in the other Bridgestone ad going back to the last Super Bowl when Bridgestone launch their current ad campaign.

Second, He's not playing the "Kevin Butler" character. He's just playing a nameless tire technician. Sony can't bar an actor from finding work with non-competitors.

@Undietaker @Dragdar This is the best example of the "pot calling the kettle black" if I ever saw one. LOL

@I_ArCh0n_I Um, this has nothing to do with Sony's "timing issues" The dev, Bethesda, can't get the DLC working properly. Bethesda's the problem, not Sony. Have you been living under a rock for the last 3 months. This is common knowledge by now.

Now they just need to sell PS1 games for their PS devices like they originally advertised. I'm getting tired of using buggy emulators to play PS1 classics on my Experia Play.

@atopp399 I definitely feel your pain. I have an Experia Play (the "psp phone") and I have to resort to emulators to play PS games on it because Sony has only made about 10 titles available over the last year and a half. They're not even good titles.

@zpluffy @seekerofangels If you consider 11 year olds shouting constant racist remarks during CoD and Halo better, then yes 360 has a much better community.
