I think Microsoft will pull in more customers with the Kinect targeting the casual gamer ramping up more console sales than Sony will this year, but focusing solely on the Kinect as the "Xbox 720" will definitely hurt them in the long run. Sony is producing soooo many exclusives this year (Little Big Planet 2, Team Ico collection, Killzone 3, SOCOM 4, InFamous 2, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, The Last Guardian, etc.) whereas Microsoft has... Forza Motorsport 4 and... Kinect games. Yeah, great. Also, don't forget that most of the AAA titles will have Move-support and third party developers will eventually announce more PS2 collections for the PS3 so that'll keep hard core gamers interested.

I think Microsoft will still take Sony next year in sales with the influx of casual gamers picking up a Xbox 360 Kinect bundle but Sony is definitely going to scoop up the hard core gamers.

Holy ASDF! I didn't know that they were releasing an Ico collection! Mad stoked!

I'm sorry for invading the thread to ask another question, but it does relate to the RPG genre. Anyway, has anyone heard anything about The White Knight Chronicles? Is it a good RPG? I almost bought it yesterday, but I decided to buy a few others instead.

Are you giving advice for NFS: HP platinum or are you asking what are easy platinums?

commonfate

I think the goal of his post was to make people aware that NFS: HP was an easy platinum.

Regarding the OP, yes, I have looked at the trophy list on PS3trophies and it looks pretty easy. I have the game, and I've played it a decent amount, but I am also playing like 4 other games at the moment, so I haven't got around to getting the plat. I probably will though, the only thing that pisses me off is the "rapid deployment" missions for the cop. A.k.a time trials.

Most people say they hate this game, for a lot of reasons. However, most of those people are die hard FF fans, but I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I've played quite a few FF games, and I like them, but I don't own all the games, accessories, art work, and live, breathe and die FF. For the die hard fans, this game sucks, everything from the story, to the gameplay, to the maps. Everything. For me on the other hand, I am currently playing this game and I like it. I don't think the story is that bad, and I like the characters and their personalities. Granted, some of it is a bit redundant, but....i enjoy FFXIII. Let the flaming begin!

I plan on getting a new Sprint phone that has 3G. I have the option to pay an extra 20 or 30 dollars a month to be able to broadcast wi-fi and up to 5 devices can connect. I was just wondering if this would work for PS3. To be honest, the internet sucks at my house, and when someone is on the computer, I can't even really play. Therefore, I was wondering if I could just have my phone broadcast wi-fi and have my PS3 pick it up. It seems logical, but I'm just asking if it would work. Also, would it be fast? Thanks to anyone who answers!

It's a fun game to play with a couple of friends, but don't play the game for the story because it's so forgetful. The game doesn't make you care about the vault, your enemies or the people around you (except claptrap...who is a robot). Just go along for the ride, it has good game play and it's funny in parts, but other than that it's pretty forgetful.MushroomWig

That's disappointing. I don't know anyone else who has the game so I guess I'm going to just wait until it is dirt cheap, or just take a pass on it completely.

It's just one sample, you can find a lot of more threads talking about it in other places. This is why you can find many ppl offering hundreds x2010 for trading...

Wow, this is really depressing. I agree with you on the fact that I don't think Sony will do much about it, sadly. But what can you do? You just have to deal with it I guess. I'd be worried about the fairness of online play though more than anything.

I've been looking at trying out this game for quite a while but everytime I consider picking it up, I always see something else that sparks my interest. I was just wondering if the game was any good. I can get it for a decent discount at a second hand store. I think for like $15. Is it worth it? I can get into pretty much anything with a decent storyline.

Judging that you are in the military, I assume that FPO would be Fleet Post Office? So you are wondering if you will be able to use credit cards tied to FPO addresses? I'm really not sure, that is actually a godo question. I didn't know you couldn't do that in the first place. That's actually a really specific issue, and I'm not even certain that anyone on this forum would know. It's probably in your best interest to contact Sony.

you dont. no matter how hard you try your level will never work the way you want it to.

BoxingTheStars

This. Well...to an extent. You know those people who created those really awesome, full levels you play? Yeah, those people take weeks, even months, out of their lives to create those levels. It's no easy accomplishment. Levels can take an excruciatingly long time to create. It's also tricky to get anything to work just as you want it to as well. If you are like me, you will give up on your dreams of creating an awesome level after sitting through the tutorials for over 2 hours.
