I think its gotten to the point that no one in system wars will admit that X game has better graphics then Crysis. I can picture 5 years from now a game comes out and blows everyones mind and everyone finally claims that it is the graphics king, yet here on SW Crysis will ALWAYS be graphics king. It will never be replaced here.

You do realize theres this little thing called GDC, or maybe even E3 where they will announce new games. They probably dont have any announced now because they dont feel its the best time. Try being patient, it helps

This was my mindset afew months ago,but now microsoft is giving off the impression that kinect is the future for the 360. While that doesn't mean the 360 wont get any core titles;it does mean that microsoft has shifted into a different direction and aren't putting the fans that supported them first.

It is true and they have shifted their main focus, but I can see them backing the core 360 titles that they know the consumers will purchase. Games like Halo, Gears and Forza will all be there, and they will also rely on multi-platform hits like Call of Duty, Assassins Creed etc. to keep the hardcore 360 fans happy. They have been doing that for a while now, every year you hear them talk up games like Call of Duty, Halo and Gears as their big releases for the year. Also Kinect wasn't the start for their casual shift, they tried Lips, Avatars and added stuff like Netflix and ESPN. Microsoft sees the money in the casual market so they will shift focus towards that, but at the same time they aren't stupid, they also still see the money in the hardcore market so they will still continue to try to please that. In my opinion 360 fans shouldn't be worried, Microsoft has some games they haven't announced, I'm sure all 3 companies do they are just going to wait for the right time. But like I said, that is just my opinion and I could very well be wrong, and here in SW opinions don't really matter has they are all usually wrong since everybody else thinks theirs is right.

I agree with everyone when they say Activision is the scourge of the gaming industry, as they seem to not care when the say something that is insulting to gamers. But all you gamers should look at the fact that Activision is a business and they are entitled to do this, and if everything they have claimed is true, it is insubordiation on EAs part and West and Zampella were in a breach of their contracts and it would look as though Activision would win the case. Even though the claims they are making are completely outrageous and make for great Crime Drama movie material, they do seem to have evidence to support what they are saying, they are not just saying it for hits on gamespot, IGN etc. They are smart business people (not smart when it comes to games though) and wouldn't charge or sue unless they have a chance to win it. They could very well have a case, but I personally want to see IW and EA win this case and make Activision look even worse then they already do...if thats even possible

They both have the potential to look better then each other, but we wont know that until we play both games on our own televisions and see for ourselves, or see the final build in action. So these comparison threads are pointless since you are seeing early builds of each game.

And about all these bullshot claims, I remember before U2 came out people were saying the screens were bullshots, but then the actual game looked better then the screens. U3 and Gears 3 will most likely look miles better then the screens that some of you claim to be "bullshots"

so donkey kong country returns isn't even out yet and its nominated for best Wii game, with that logic you would think that GT5 should be nominated for best PS3 game, but no this is Spike TV and they nominate based on mass appeal to hardcore gamers in the West. Galaxy 2 should be a GOTY nomination, but because its appeal in the West isn't as big as Call of Duty, God of War or Halo, they place that as a GOTY nominee instead. Don't get me wrong, I am playing Black Ops and I love it to death, but a game that has recieved near perfect scores from almost every gaming critic should belong in that GOTY category.

[QUOTE="CDUB316"]

Well with the recent price cut of the PS3 i've been thinking about the PSP Go's price point

Go is at $249.99 while the PS3 is now at $299.99 (even elites are only $50 more and wii's are the exact same price)

Does anyone else find that EXTREMELY ridiculous? PS3, Grade A quality gaming console...and the Go...a what looks to be a very uncomfortable handheld that teases you by having a PERFECT spot for a second analog stick but kicks you in the face with a start and select button that would work very well up above the analog stick

i just don't see what was wrong with the PSP 3000 (or 2000 for that matter) in the first place...it's an ok handheld that is about $150 ($100 less than the Go) and you could just get a 32gb stick for $50, which is DOUBLE the flash memory in the Go and you still have $50 to spare

i mean they are ALREADY allowing you to download some digital copies of games right now anyway...so what makes digital copies of games on the Go anymore better than on a 3000 or 2000? plus a regular PSP also allows you to have hard copies of your games as well

How do you guys feel?

In my opinion the price will be justifiable. The large internal memory storage and the possibility of adding more memory through memory sticks is pretty amazing. For $199 you get the PSP 3000 along with a 1GB memory stick. For $50 more you get 15GB more memory along with the possibility to add more memory. You have the oppurtunity to buy PSP Mini games. And down the line EVERY PSP game will be available. Although I hate to admit it but I think most people out there dont care about value so it might not sell as well as Sony anticipates. IMO the price is justified, but it may not be to some people. BTW I know people are still whining that there isnt a second analog stick...but think about it, what good would it do, every previous game wouldnt be compatible with it and the PSP is so late in its lifecycle according to Sony that adding a second analog stick wouldnt be smart, as developers would have to change how they develop games for PSP.
