I just watched this movie the other night and it was pathetic. Couldn't tell if it was just taking the p*ss the whole time or actually attempting to be serious.
Last time I ever trust an IMDB rating over RottenTomatoes. (I'm saying this as a big Bale fan as well)
Haha, I came into the thread specifically to recommend that movie :) It is terrific. Another Gordon-Levitt flick that isn't well known is 'Mysterious Skin' and I definitely recommend it. It doesn't shy away from a pretty complex topic. Along with Gosling they are two of the best upcoming actors in my opinion.
