Good for Ayaneo, but until Microsoft gets its act together and makes Windows usable as a competitor to Steam Deck, then this will always feel outdated.

This was probably for a simple reason, but as always, Microsoft is reactive and not proactive to issues it needs to be addressing and actions it needs to be taking, so unforced PR errors like this exist.

This game not being F2P is business malpractice.

So happy for PlayStation owners, Microsoft has been keeping the PS5 afloat because Sony certainly can’t.

The best time to be a gamer.

Worst time to be a game developer, sadly.

@hardwenzen: I assure you, he didn’t get his wealth by not having any sponsorships.

It’s sad that games journalism is not as popular as those easily bought and influenced influencers. People want confirmation bias and relatability over truth and good content.

I prefer systems that are quick to understand, but can be engaged for a long time. If it takes a long time to engage with a system, that means the pacing is too slow.

No new news here. We already knew Nintendo was going to announce it before March 2025, which means it probably will release no earlier than April.

Hopefully Xbox will continue to be a strong player in the console space

I'm sure Microsoft will continue making gaming hardware; but they might not be Xbox-branded.

Microsoft has already made "Xbox" into a household name and that gaming brand has just hit 500 million active users..

why on Earth would they release a new console and not utilize the Xbox brand?..

honest question..

Xbox is a household name in the US, but not outside of it. That’s a major reason for their lack of success, the name is toxic outside the US.
