Microsoft is so out of touch with reality that they are predicting 1 billion console sales this coming generation.

I mean... that's ambitious and all, but it just shows how out of touch they are.

That would mean each of the 3 (SONY, Nintendo, Microsoft) would have to sell on average.

333,333,333.33 consoles each (33 and one third million consoles each)

now lets put that in perspective using the greatest selling console of all time the PS2.

The PS2 sold 155 million worldwide.

With that taken into consideration that means the Microsoft believes that each of the big 3 will more than DOUBLE that number... lol

Or maybe they think they will sell like 700 million and crush the record by like 545 million consoles... I mean that is only like what a 450% difference?

PFFFFFFFFFT no problem...

MS needs to get some real gamers in their gaming department because these accountants and lawyers are completely clueless....

Pre-orders are probably a bunch of Microsoft employees driving numbers up.

With all the reports of Microsoft paying employees to do all sorts of other underhanded marketing bs... I would not be surprised.

I guess we will see. However, multipats will probably be the best games for the first year or two on BOTH consoles.

SONY will be lead console on most multiplats...

I seriously hope both do well at some point though..

I don't bash any console either.. that is NOT the problem. The problem lies with Microsoft. If they change these anti-consumer policies I will forgive and forget.
