Those saying the X1 still stands a chance against the PS4... lets look at some "off the top of my head" history..

1. SONY caught up in sales to the 360 after a $600 console release and a year later in the race. Why? The price dropped and sales went up. The PS4 is releasing for $200 dollars less than the asking price of the PS3 at launch. The cheaper Xbox 360 helped it to sell better.

2. PS3 Cell architecture was hard to develop for, and STILL the top rated games this generation were on the PS3. This time they are both using x86 and SONY is the more powerful console. Most multiplat games will be made for the PS4 first and X1 will have inferior multiplats this gen.

3. X1 is imposing policies that the majority of gamers do not want to stand for. With the PS4 going the opposite direction... we don't have to. The fence sitters have a pretty easy decision, and there are a lot more of those then loyal fanboys.

4. SONY got cocky with the PS3 and admitted it.. They confronted fans saying sorry and said it would not happen again. The PS4 details show that to be very true with more developers and a more OPEN system then ever. Microsoft slapped their fans in the face with SEVERAL policies and took away even more gaming rights.

5. SONY had their 3rd console curse... looks like it is Microsoft's turn... however, with the crap they are trying to pull it's as if they just didn't want to break traditions...

Ok, well PS4 is bundled with a headset and X1 isn't

I'm not saying that makes up the full price, HOWEVER, the parts inside the X1 are much cheaper as well.

I would guess even with the Kinect the cost of production is pretty similar.

See... it's like this. Xbox fanboys think that SONY and Nintendo fans hate on Microsoft because they are scared of them.

In reality GAMERS are hating on Microsoft because of the crap ass policies they are forcing on their fan base and reason they exist in the gaming world in the first place.

Nothing is wrong with the X1. It is the policies enforced by the corporation behind the console. They are also trying to sell this console with weaker specs for $100 MORE then the PS4.

Anti-consumerism at its best. Anybody who supports the X1 at this point is supporting the decline of the gaming industry as we know it.

The games and specs look just fine... that isn't what it is about...

PS4 will not be gamer friendly? How so?

Open to Indy gamers to show appreciation to the media and industry big and small.

Used games, borrow games, trade games, sell games.

Hardcore and casual approach.

listened and tried to improve controller although it was already great.

Best hardware of the three at a price only $50 higher then that of the WiiU.
