the reason the PS4 will be much more powerful is for this reason.
Reports are that X1 3 operating systems use 3GB of the slower DDR3 RAM. Giving the gaming only a possible 5GB of DDR3 compared to the PS4's likely 7 out of 8 GB of GDDR5.
Yeah the whole X1 controversy over whether it will be always online or not is very hazy at the moment. They claim it is not... however, they failed to comment and beat around the bush with the subject. Also, I heard that before you play a game it must pass an authentication check which temporarily connects online. Meaning? No online... no play.
I am 6'3 with large hands and I prefer the PS controller.
If it really matters tat much though, you can always buy a modded controller... I am sure you can use a Xbox controller on the PS4 somehow.. especially with the structure being so close to a PC. You will need a converter though probably
They forgot to mention the main reasons why X1 will lose:
1. Every game MUST install to HDD that is only 500GB. Just consider that many games this coming gen could easily be 20GB or more... especially with ENTIRE mandatory installs and more large RPG/MMO type games coming to consoles. I HATE erasing my save files to make room for more... I can't imagine having to delete AN ENTIRE GAME. 500 GB may sound pretty good until you own 10-15 games a couple years into the consoles lifecycle.
2. Online requirement
3. Pay for EVERY used game.
4. No trading or borrowing games from friends or family members without paying a fee to play.
5. It just keep on going and going and going. Like Energizer.
