Just because it's "more" straightfoward/understandable doesn't mean it will be entirely straightfowad/understandable. Dark Souls could drop some ambiguity and still be a pretty bizarre place. I'm hoping here obviously, but I have faith in From Software.

Those bitching about the score do realize the reviewer really likes the game? It does nothing differenet from previous installments, and he wasn't a fan of new Kratos or the multiplayer, but he still gave it 8.0. That's a testament to just how good the core gameplay is. There is nothing wrong with this review.

Looks like a decent mix of old and new castlevania styles. I'll probably pick this one up.

So it has 3rd person cover based shooting and ultra cinematic "push x not to die" BS thrown in. Very original.

Sony is bound to have some software surprises at E3 this year, wouldn't expect them to show all their cards just yet.

I'll get this when it's 20 dollars down the road. As fun as this type of action game is, it's hard to justify 60$ for a short campaign and no multiplayer.

@nickfitz_99 I have my kinect mounted on the top of my pc monitor. Haven't used it in over a year, but I think it looks cool up there.
