I can't tell if it's the update screwing with the disk drive or if it's just the drive going out. It detects games but can load up far enough to play, and playes blu-ray movies but then freezes 2 minutes in.

It seems like the drive is working, then remembers "oh yeah, I'm supposed to be broken.

i did hear a rumor somewhere that the systems being effected most are the back capatible ones, and mines the 80Gig BC. I even heard someone is already trying to start up a class action against sony for 3.10 already.

This is what I hate about this generation. You can't tell if your system failiure is from updates F'ing it up or just regular wear and tear.

guess i'm going to try a full system restore to see if it gets the system working again. bye bye 30 hour dragon age file (it can't be copied, already tried)

Anything that involves a middle man is going to rip you off. Selling items yourself on Ebay or craiglist is the way to go. Game shops are the lazy way, but you pay for it.

At first the 3.10 seemed stable, but now my system keeps freezing up on me when reading from a disk. Hell, I can't even get of a cave in dragon age because it keeps freezing. Is anyone else having problems with it now? and is there any word on a new update?

I thought Battalion Wars was Advance Wars 3D? and Didn't Advance Wars rip off from Military Madness? does that mean VC is a rip off of Military Madness?

*Slowly raises hand* Um, I kinda like it. It's a game with alot of potential from a strategic standpoint.
