Better physics is subjective. They both do some things better and worse than the other.

GT sound has always been ludicrously behind the times unless you like cars that sound like vacuum cleaners and tire effects that sound like tortured cats.

More variety? Forza trumps GT in variety in limitless ways.

Graphics, car count, more cars on track? GT has the edge for sure, but give credit where credit is due and stop pulling stats out of your butt.

I'm not a graphics whore at all andI'm playing on the PC on the highest settings and I'm pretty shocked at how bad it looks, so that can't bode well for the console versions. Other than camera issues, meh graphics, and some party AI stupidity, a good game so far.

This nonsense about KY being a perfectionist has got to end, as does the rampant fanboyism. The amount of bugs, poor design decisions, and mis-information by PD is just as bad as every other developer. Anyone that believes KY is some kind of perfectionist has obviously never played a GT game. They make as many bugs and errors as everyone else. That being said, they still make one of the best games ever.

People better be ready for non of these features to be in game like they expect.

• Weather - won't be real time. The weather will be static and always be the same for that track.
• Track editor - no chance. Autocross editor? Maybe.
• Time of day - won't be real time. Just like weather, such and such a track will always be at night.
• Nascar and WRC? Are they really the same without the tracks? Nascar with 16 cars on a couple different ovals? WRC without the real rally stages? 20 environments has already been stated, that doesn't leave much room for those licenses' tracks.

Those are my expectations, and I won't be suprised if most of that is missing, but at least I'm setting myself up for a pleasant suprise rather than the bitter dissapointment of the past from KY. I hope I'm wrong.

I tried it and then after 16 minutes returned it back to gamestop and got dirt 2 instead. There wasn't anything special about forza 3.

So within 16 minutes you experienced and...

• raced on the 100+ tracks
• drove all of the 400+ cars
• upraded and tuned your favorite cars into Ferrari slayers
• took crazy beautiful photos of your cars and shared them on the storefront and website
• saved your favorite replays, shared them out for others and uploaded them to youtube
• created some great new vinyls or painted your favorite race or fantasy livery to take online
• bought and sold great deals on the auction house
• perused the ground breaking storefront for liverys, tuning setups, replays and more or posted your wares on there for others to buy
• finished the massively improved career which comprises about 60 of the 200+ events
• placed times on all the 1000+ leaderboards
• finished every time trial
• perfected the new drift scoring system down fujimi kaido
• raced online multiplayer or splitscreen with a buddy
• created a new multiplayer game mode that nobody has yet even dreamed of and shared it out so Turn10 can add it to the multiplayer modes

...and determined that none of this is any good. That's right, you didn't. You're just a fanboy, and not a very convincing one at that.

Lesson here is, if you're going to troll, don't get caught. But at least this guy has a vested interest in fanboying his game. I'm with Masiisam, there must be PD employees in here the lengths they go to, at least I hope they're PD employees, otherwise it makes no sense.

I read the associated thread and pic over in the GT5 forums at GTPlanet. Might want to give credit where its due.

Both games are stunning. Polyphony really understands how to light their cars and really focus on that, where as Turn 10 looks to make the whole screen pop with stunning environments and high-rez textures. If only we could put GT cars into Forza environments, we'd pretty much be set.

There would be some mature debates about the merits and problems of each game. But as this battle is on the front line of the console war, we instead get annoying fanboys screaming at the top of their lungs while digging holes in the sand to bury their head in.

Sadly, I'd wager that the most vocal and annoying of all these fanboys aren't even interesting in playing either of these games nor care to join into mature debate that ultimately could have an affect on the end product. Sad. Pathetic.

And now you know why PD doesn't work on improving those areas because only a tiny, hardcore, non vocal amount of people complain about them. Meanwhile the extremely vocal, thread trolling fanboys create countless topics on how great the graphics are and therefore how great/real the game is.

It's too bad, because if only those vocal graphic whore fanboys would focus a bit of their insecurity towards complaining about these areas, the entire GT fanbase would undoubtedly get a better game as PD might start hearing some of these cries for better features through the cacophony of graphics whoring.

Wow, TC is a massive troll and misinformer. First off, you might want to learn your cars especially if you're going to troll Forza. The car in Forza is an Audi R8 V10 and is correctly modeled and you are comparing it to the standard Audi R8.But of course you probably haven't actually played both games to form your opinion.
