Forza physics engine is really subpar compared to GT.

Your evidence is well thought out, geniously outlined, and irrefutable.

Polyphony makes a beautiful game and really understand lighting. Unfortunately I won't be able to play for probably a year thanks to them taking forever.
[QUOTE="nhh18"]good god, gt5 made forza3 look like a ps1 game in that comparison. best of all is when he said forza3 runs 60fps and is easier on the eyes, lol, both games run 60fps, lmao at the ms fanboys at dumbstroid.destructoid aren't lemmings they are idiots of the gaming community. They are what I consider the hiphopgamer show. Joke of a site

I mean it is so obvious. I mean fanboy blinders aside. If anyone can't see the visual difference is blind.

Look, I love GT5P along with most racing games, but if you're saying that GT5P doesn't drop lots of frames and tears the other half, then you just haven't played the game. Get more than two cars bunched up in a corner and it becomes a slide show. Just the truth.
didn't read the article did you? I'll summarize it for you:[QUOTE="Richymisiak"][QUOTE="jakehouston88"]
If we want a comparison, GT5 WINS!

This^ destroyed the credibility of that article.
"While both games look great on the track, Forza's demo featured a polish that Gran Turismo 5's lacked. The rocky hillsides and lush greenery easily showed up the bland, almost clinical-looking cityscape of Gran Turismo. Driving slow in Gran Turismo is like inviting disappointment. I guess they were hoping you'd always be moving fast enough to not notice the perfectly flat tree and pole textures. Plants and trees on the side of the road look like paper cutouts, and the tree trunks are laughably bad. As far as the vehicle visuals go, neither game disappoints. Both supply unhealthy doses of car porn. The tighter racing action of Forza 3 made it easier to appreciate the models of the cars I raced against, but both pull off amazing feats as far as visuals go. Forza's framerate was liquid smooth, making it a bit easier on the eyes than GT5."
You're right, those comments aren't nearly as compelling an argument as your unending"GT > Forza" comments. At least he posts somes reasons for the decision which is far more than you ever have.

Compares visuals, controls, and gameplay. Don't want to spoil it but one of the games swept all categories.
[QUOTE="Wubba"][QUOTE="Rikusaki"] Indeed. Did you see the pit crew? The animation is quite impressive. I hate how that guy just stands in front of the screen though... I will post a better one if I can find it.Rikusaki
Very cool looking for sure. Hopefully we have full control over what the pit crew does.
What worries me is that stuff like this is the reason I'm not currently playing GT5 and won't be playing GT5 this holiday. It's a cool feature for sure, but it's not a game changer and I'd rather sacrifice 'fluff' like this and have a finished product that I can play right now.
It's those little things that make GT so immense.I assume it's those things that make it so late. I looks cool, but what does it really add at a gameplay level? Very little if anything, especially if you can't control the pit settings. Now all other things being equal, I'd definitely want that sweet looking pit crew, but not at the expense of decent AI, passable audio, stable multiplayer and a release date not 5 years in the making. And from what I've seen and heard, there has been a little work on the AI to the point that it's no longer brain dead, but just in a coma, and the audio is still the worst audio available in a racing game. Animated pit crews is not worth it in comparison to those other things and continues to reinforce my belief in what PD thinks is important in a racing sim.
[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"]Guys, who cares!? Its a thread with GT5 images. You don't like them, leave the thread, for the rest of us who love drooling over these beautiful images and the awesome vids, let us enjoy it in peace.RikusakiIndeed. Did you see the pit crew? [QUOTE="Wubba"][QUOTE="Rikusaki"] Oh come on now... Forza fans have been posting TONS of screens shots just like these. The only gameplay footage we have so far is off-screen from TGS. The first FM3 gameplay footage was off-screen too...
Rikusaki
Are you really complaining about Forza fans posting photo-mode shots. Hmmm...let's see, should I post a link to every GT photomode thread that YOU have started on this board. Not sure my computer has enough cache to hold all those links. I like your passion for GT, but your double standards are showing through.
I wasn't complaining..... if anybody has double standards, its the Forza fans. If they can post photomode, I can too. That's not what I'm saying. You've been posting non gameplay GT5HD/P long before the Forza 3 threads started and are now saying that since they did it you can do it, but you actually started the trend. Like I said, I love your passion about the game, but sometimes I think it obscures your vision.

So where are the direct feed, HD screen captures of gameplay?

This video is stunning, and not just looking. Turn up the volume, that's what I'm talking about. Also you can really see the AI going to work in this video. There's just so much win in that replay.
