There are no confirmed reports as of now, but I've noticed that Alex Proyas (I, Robot , The Crow, Dark City) might be directing the Halo movie.  I for one have only seen I, Robot out of all of Proyas works, which I did enjoy and it seems that most of his movies have gotten good scores/reviews, so if he is choosen as the director I think that Halo might be heading in a good direction.  Again, this is unconfirmed and I just came across this info, but what do you think?

Well, it was someone's birthday today in my English class and he and the teacher made plans to bring some stuff in for a party.  Now, at my high school we have what's called a block schedule, basically we have 4 classes each day (the same classes for the whole quarter/semester/year), with each class at 100 minutes each (1 hour and 40 minutes).  We had what tasted like pound cake with a bit of icing/filling at the top, chips and soda.  We also watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse during the block, so I had a good block for that part of the day.

For being an A-school, all 10th and 11th graders at my school got to watch a movie today in the auditorium.  There were 3 choices: Flightplan, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Yours, Mine and Ours.  I voted for Harry Potter and expected that to win, but Flightplan won.  I was already pretty pissed and I could just tell people just voted for Flightplan to avoid seeing Harry Potter because they think it's dumb and gay when they haven't even bothered watching it.  I went into the auditorium thinking Flightplan would just be a mediocre movie, but I was wrong, it was atrocious.  This is easily the worst movie I've seen since Open Water (my least favorite movie of all time).  The acting was horrible, there was no point to the film (it even contradicted itself at that) and it was just plain boring.  About the only thing that the movie had going for it was a feel-good ending, but the movie just sucked.  So a friendly caution, if you haven't seen this movie don't see it, otherwise your wasting away your life. 

It took me a while, but I finally got my Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter review done.  I'm likely to make changes to it within the next few weeks and/or months but I put a lot of effort into this review and I think it payed off.  To anyone who even bothers to read this or the review, I hope you enjoy!

There was a test in my French class today that I had absolutely no idea of and I got a 55 on it!  I had just recovered from a 28 I got on a previous test by retaking it and getting a 71, bring my grade to an 80.  Now that 55 brought my grade down to a 77, I was ready to get my grade getting closer to an A, but that's looking pretty impossible.  Wish me luck on my French exam on Thursday, I'll really need it!
