It's sad to see so many people dissing the Wii just because of the graphics not having as high of quality as the PS3 and 360. Back in the days of the NES, people didn't care about the graphics as long as the games themselves were fun. This basic rule apparently doesn't apply today, considering people are not going to buy the Wii because of it.
Does this make any sense? Not really, since the Wii has a lot to offer, like the ability to go online for free, buying old titles from the glory days of Nintendo and other companies, and overall a new way to play a video game. Plus the great price of $250 or lower, and you have a great system. Yet, because of the hardware, the system won't produce super-realistic visuals, which in turn, people won't buy the system. Where's the logic in this?
So, in conclusion, anyone who is not going to buy the Wii simply because of the lower graphical quality, than gaming shouldn't exist anymore. Games, like most of the first sports games for the 360, made games with great graphics, but bad gameplay. Yet people bought them. So, if games and console will be bought solely based off of the graphics, then gaming, like my topic implies, is going to hell.
