@Hagan: You might as well. I was ridiculous and pre-ordered the power armor version from Gamestop. Only after did I learn about the beta, and now I feel good knowing I can simply cancel the order if I don't enjoy myself in the beta.

That would give me plenty of time to replay the first one if it happened to get re-released on current gen consoles. Hint hint

I'd settle for a re-release of Brutal Legend at this point. It was a lot of fun, though I never really enjoyed the larger strategic battles.

I don't see Charlie Day listed anywhere, but I see Benny in the trailer.

Sounds pretty awesome. I could definitely play some FC3 on PS4. I wonder if it will have its own trophy set, or share them with the PS3 version.

@m4a5: I wish Blood Dragon was re-released. I played it before I ever played FC3, and it was just so weird and strange. I know I finished the main story but there was a bunch of things I didn't touch because I didn't understand the controls or mechanics of the game at the time.

This is definitely really exciting. As much as I look forward to eventually seeing this, I know that I will be tearing up the entire time. Fred was just such a good guy, I don't know what else could be said.

@jasperwest: Why? It's new content that has been created. You come off sounding pretty greedy too.

It's a big risk to release a game based vaguely off of an old game that was, unfortunately, not even that popular. My hope is that they re-release the original before this new one comes out to remind people of the crazy world that had already been established. Plus, I just really want to play the first one again.

If they don't release the original game, then this one had better be a truly solid experience. After all, it could be said that Prey went through a similar process, and people aren't exactly still talking about that one.
