[QUOTE="XboxFails"][QUOTE="Shensolidus"] I've alluded to it, i've even sort of acknowledged the game on these boards, while keeping a low profile of course. I've said that once the game comes out i'd be happy to reveal what it was. Shensolidus
I have a question. How much is the hardware devoted to running kinect? After seeing Forza 5 and Forza 4 screens, Forza 4 looked far cleaner than Forza 5. I'm thinking so much of the power is utilized for kinect that the power of the machine that's left for gaming is less than the power of the 360. That can explain why Forza 4 looks better than Forza 5.
Answering that question is something i'd DEFINITELY get in trouble for. Yes, there is a reason this question hasn't been answered yet, and gamers would probably ruffle a few feathers once they found out about it. To be fair, that isn't the only 'service' that sucks up APU cycles that isn't main game related. I'd be surprised if any of the actual numbers ever gets out there. So is there a reason why SONY is silent about CPU clockspeeds and RAM reservations for the OS? It's 1 and a half more months until launch, so I'd assume that both numbers are finalized.
Also, is the 10% GPU reservation on the Xbone for just the OS? If it dedicates extra CPU and GPU cycles to process kinect, I would lulz. That news would be even worse than a downclock.
