I  for one prefer a seamless continuous experience which keeps me engrossed. Theres nothing worse than being in an intense firefight lining up that perfect  headshot and getting a host migration delay. If the technology is there Sony should be utitilising it to improve the experience

. I can honestly say the only poor experience I have had online with LIVE is whilst playing Fight Night it just didnt happen for me. PS3 gave me countless frustrating online experiences. Hence the reason I only have a handful of exclusive titles orientated around sigle player. 

I wont be buying a PS4. They had ten years to create a competitive product, all we have is a graphics upgrade.

Xbox 360 had p2p multiplayer and you had no problems paying for it. SONY is going to make a killing making gamers pay for P2P connection.

On paper yes. So far devs and those who have played on dev kits or betas have said no difference that is noticable. This is Ps3 vs Xbox 360 all over again pre-release.

Devs who are pressured to stay neutral and could be fired if they speak ill of either platform are now trustworthy sources? Carmack's "I haven't done testing on either machines, but they're equal and you should believe me because I'm Carmack" is proof that devs will say whatever they can to maintain a neutral position.

Clearly, you don't see the difference between SONY and Microsoft.

SONY has made horrible decisions in the past like the CELL and Bluray drives, but SONY's intention was to revolutionize gaming, not to screw the consumer over. The PS3 was a bad bet, but it wasn't made out of ill-will to the consumers unlike the Xbox ONE. That is what separates SONY and Microsoft.

Microsoft is a burden on the industry. Period. I'm glad that they're going to fail next gen.
