@cipo89 -- It's the effort that counts, at least in any respectable person's book. Also, I'm glad you have a sense of humor, you're edit made me laugh and thumbs it up. :P
@cipo89 -- "PC>PS3=XBOX" - I wouldn't call that an "expression of love"; it's more akin to trolling, even spam. I think Gelugon_baat has every right to critique such a remark. Also, it should be irrelevant, but I thought you should know I am saying this as a heavy PC gamer.
@Taegre -- I certainly do I hope I can pass my game collection onto someone. I collect my games and game soundtracks, and I do consider it a hobby. Is jogging not a good hobby? Let me spin your last paragraph around a bit: "Let's be honest here. Nobody gives a crap about the marathons we run, our completion times, our BMI, any of it. Jogging is fun and can have certain physiological benefits, but we all need to exercise moderation, and when somebody says jogging is their hobby, that tells me they've thrown moderation out the window." There isn't much difference now is there? Unless you're just being prejudice or trying to be socially correct; either reason being ridiculous and unreasonable.
Dude, at least half of your budget needs to be the video card. You're so worried about the uber expensive CPU, but as far as gaming goes the GPU gives you way, way, way more fps per dollar. You'd need dual vid card setup before you start thinking about the CPU bottlenecking. Interesting and funny article though, thanks for sharing, British humor is always entertaining to read. :P
What's with all the mugshots? I keed, I keed... btw I think Carolyn has the most accurate predictions, they absolutely make the most sense. Chris and Andrew... well... your ideas 'sound' awesome... :P
The Heavy Rain soundtrack didn't captivate me very well, but maybe that was because of all the emotional and visual stress endured throughout the game. :P Reminiscing the two tracks provided, it's obvious the man has talent though, he definitely worked for it too!
As long as religious themes in games remain just that, themes, then I don't see the boat rocking too much. Although I remember when Little Big Planet was recalled because one of the background song's lyrics contained parts of the Qur'an. My point being that religion is as you stated, a sensitive issue for most people. Used properly I think it adds a new dimension to whatever media it's used in, and I love learning about different people, beliefs, and cultures. I don't see it changing much in the future, but I appreciate games like Catherine and El Shaddai.
